Saves so much hassle
Great, flexible cables that connect pedals with none of the drama that can accompany rigid cables, depending on pedalboard design.

Nice low profile cable for pedalboard - 92pf capacitance
This is a pretty decent little low-profile patch cable. I actually measured it's length at 26 inches, rather than 2 ft, if that matters at all. If you use just these low profile cables, you can get two pedals to be within 3/4 of an inch of each other. With standard patch cables, you are lucky to get them about 1 1/8 inch apart. This very low profile adds up to maybe let you squeeze just one more pedal on your board. So, basically, that's what you're getting for the price. . . the ability to squeeze one more pedal in.I am always concerned with tone-suck in longer signal chains, so I measure the capacitance. This 2ft patch cable introduces about 92pf of parasitic capacitance. That's a little high for just a 2 foot cable, and I was a little surprised, but it's also not horrible. It's in the typical range for average quality patch cables (e.g. not-pro grade). I must admit, for the D'Addario name brand and price, I was expecting a bit better (like 60 or 70pf). I've noticed these higher capacitance ratings on several low profile cables, and I assume it just has something to do with the physical shape of the cable (i.e. flat, rather than round).Otherwise, I really like these cables, and I use them on my own pedal board. They are not bulky at all, and the low profile is nice. However, I am subtracting just one star for the price being a little high without an audio quality justification to go with it. I think you're mostly buying the name here. But part of buying the name is also buying D'Addario's lifetime guarantee of the cable (the guarantee is stamped right on the cord!).Final Rating: 4 stars. Great low-profile cable, with a lifetime guarantee, but the price is a little higher.

Excellent patch cables
I have been slowly changing all my patch cables over to D’Addario flat patch cables. Solid, no possibility of the cable and connection to get broke. Just solid stuff.

Basic Patch Cable
Ideal for pedal boards. The flat design gives you plenty of room on a crowded pedalboard. Should hold up well.

Great low profile patch cable
This is an excellent low profile patch cable for your pedalboard. The right angled ends are very low profile so you can save space. The flat and very flexible cable allows you to manipulate these to take up less space than you would expect in a cable of this length (2 feet). I didn't notice any decrease in sound quality with this cable vs other brands. D'Addario is a very reputable brand and this is a fine product for them to have their name on.

D'Addario has done it again!
As a life-long guitar player I learned years ago what brands to trust, and what brands to avoid - and D'Addario has always been a trusted go-to for me. (You guitar players out there know what I'm talking about, right?!) This company understands what issues guitar players run into, what problems need solved and they address them and provide innovative solutions - and with this little cable they've done it again. I don't always use a board, but always use pedals, and a frustration I've put up with for a long time is that heavier, round cables tend to push my pedals apart ... I go to stomp on my Boss echo pedal, for instance, and my round, heavier cable has pushed my pedals aaprt 2-4 inches. Sounds like a minor thing, but it's not when it makes you miss a beat and you lose focus on the music. This flat cable design, coupled with the right angle solid plugs allows you to get your pedals as close as you want, without them moving apart. The soldered plug ends eliminates the ends from unscrewing, there is absolutely no noise or hum, they are well made and reliable. This is exactly what every player looks for in any piece of equipment - plug in and play. This cable is the kind of innovation I expect from D'Addario, a trusted brand of mine for years. Try it for yourself and see if you don't agree, and get about the business of making worry-free music!

Nice low profile, fairly high capacitance cable
D'Addario are an excellent brand because they are known for their quality. I have used their products in the past and can attest that their reputation is well-deserved. These new flat cables are no exception. I’ve had flat cables before. They were as flat as these but are much wider. In addition, the right angle plug casing on these are tiny; barely wider than the ¼ inch plug itself. I really like how thin and small these plugs are. It makes it much easier to have a neat and tidy looking pedalboard. One thing to bear in mind is that these are actually quite high capacitance cables. So if you have too much combined length, then some of the top-end, high frequencies will sound slightly rolled off. That’s not really a problem for the shortest lengths, but the capacitance is about three times higher than the long lengths of low capacitance instrument cables I run between my guitar and FX board.I really like these. They are the nicest looking patch cable I own. I recommend getting the shortest lengths you can use on your board though.

What's not to like?
I feel compelled to write this, as the only review here claims that this product “doesn’t do a standard connection.” My experience has been very different. First, it makes a standard connection to any 1/4" TS device that I have around. I am currently using it with my amp, but it worked fine with pedal effects and other gear. Secondly, the previous review claimed that this product “makes you think your other product is defective.” On the contrary, this product has never tried to gaslight me into thinking that my other products are defective. It hasn't gone out of its way to assure me that all my products are a-ok either, it's been very agnostic on the issue. It’s just a very nice cable, super flexible and low-profile, without feel unsubstantial. The only thing not to like is the price, which is the price unfortunately. Is it worth it? Up to you. But the cable seems to be everything D’Addario claims it is.

Do not connect properly, not standard diameter.
The product doesn’t do a standard connection, it makes you think your other product is defective when it is the cord that is defective. DO NOT BUY.
