Slows people down
She I received this I was unsure of it holding up to the weather, but it is well made and has held up all summer. I wasn't even sure it would help with the speeding traffic inmy very small neighborhood. It actually has worked with quite a few cars. Most notable was the FedEx and UPS drivers that would floor it coming up the street. Now they go slow until the pass our houses. I live at the edge of town and people would always seem to fly through with little thought of the children that live here. I have been pleasently surprised by what one sign has accomplished. We still have those few who seem to not care, but that isn't because of the sign not doing its job, those people seem to not care about anything other then themselves. I would recommend giving this sign a shot. I think you will be pleased.

❌Came damaged, material way too cheap❌
🔅UPDATE🔅I had to change my review from 2🌟 to 1🌟 because the metal legs that keep the sign in the ground keep doing some sort of a “split.”I have no idea how it’s doing it, but I attached a pic to show you...🔅1st REVIEW🔅It arrived damaged & must’ve been way too super stacked with the others because the damage is on the opposite side of where the metal stand was taped. It’s also made of some sort of poster board... Not sure if it will be able to handle the weather up here in Central NYI needed a sign, because as you can see, I live on a road that is probably only a hundred yards long & people drive like mad men through it.All night & day I hear people peeling out from the stop sign, I’ve already picked up about 10 dead squirrels, chipmunks, and a bunny within 3 months, so hopefully this sign will help...Yesterday, the wind was so bad that the sign was blowing sideways, so I might need to poke holes through it for wind resistance.👉If the sign didn’t come damaged and was actually $16 worth of material, it would be a 5⭐️ Rating.I’ve only had it outside for a day, so if it holds up at least until the terrible winter weather comes in, I’ll give it another ⭐️👉PLEASE upvote my review if you found it helpful! Thanks😁

Is there a sign + baseball bat combo on the market?
Nice size sign, very visible from one side of the street to the other. The vivid red (hopefully) makes the drivers - at least some of those who use our children-packed street as a shortcut - to slow down to see what's on it, which is the whole idea. I opted out of the yellow signs - people can usually guess what it's all about, but red tends to cause an alarm. My neighbors commented very favorable on my putting the sign out, some thanked me for it - we're all in the same boat when it comes to a racing idiot zooming along the street without pausing in the areas where kids play. It's been out for several months now. We had severe winds and rains, which did nothing to the sign - still stands, still bright. I only wish it came with a long bat to smack those who fail to slow down as they approach...

A Great Shaming Tool
This must be an effective shaming tool because my neighborhood gangbangers have stolen it twice. Being lazy brats, they just toss it into a ditch a few blocks from the house and I put it back up again. Now, it's about 8' above the ground on a pole and it's pretty much left alone. Now, I just need to get the Red Wing cops to do their job.

Great product but can potentially upset your neighbors. (true story)
Ordered this product because we live on a road that is heavily trafficked during rush hours. It is used as a cut-through EVERYDAY. In short I wanted to make the speeders aware that its a 25 MPH with children playing daily. Well a neighbor (yes he lives one street down and has 3 young children of his own) is now intentionally speeding as he approaches our house, and after talking with him, he says the sign offends him and he will continue to speed as long as my sign is up. The day he drove by for the first time we were outside doing yard work, my three young children were on the front lawn playing. He saw this and still approached the house, and speed away.So be aware of this innocent sign causing more harm than expected.BTW sign is made very durable and has been up for a few weeks now, in the sun and rain.GOOD LUCK!!!

Great for busy streets
I live on a two way street in the city next to a stop sign. We have a lot of people that like to take off quickly from the stop sign and speed down the street. The sign is large enough, and bright enough, to see when I put it on the easement near the street. It's dual sided so traffic both ways can see it. It's been outside in high sun, rain and cold weather and it has not deformed or faded. I was initially afraid of fading but it's just as bright as if it were brand new. The next test is the super cold winter months of the Midwest. But I feel like it's going to survive.

Does the job!
We live on a windy road in the hills that many drivers seem to think is the autobahn. I put this sign at the edge of our driveway and from day one I've noticed drivers braking when they see the sign. The exact result I was hoping for with my 22 month old playing outside (with me of course). Some of my neighbors have teased me for putting up the sign, but seriously, I wanted to get a little attention and make our yard a little safer, so I'll take the jokes. And, I noticed another one just around the corner from us, so I'm happy to have more parents on board. I definitely recommend the purchase.

Sends a clear message!
We live on a through street in a subdivision where everyone goes a bit too fast. We have kids on this street and all if us neighbors have grown completely sick & tired of all the speeders. About half of us all bought these which was great. I do think it has probably helped since seeing all these red signs at the edge of the street all the way down is probably obnoxious to the driver (YAY!). All in all I think it’s a worthwhile way to get a clear message to the drivers.
