Lily Bloom Carry On Expandable Design Pattern Luggage With Spinner Wheels (20in, On the Prowl)

I chose the Wildwoods pattern not only for its fun vibrancy but also for the carryon design. Note that there are many patterns for this model but the style is different depending on the pattern you choose. A few of the designs have a small pocket in the middle front and a larger pocket behind. The larger pocket behind holds my 13.5" notebook with lots of room to spare. See photo with a standard file folder inside. Most of the designs have two pockets on the front and it looks like no pocket behind for a computer. There are lots of pockets inside the main compartment. It is a thoughtful design with touches like fun colored pull tabs on the zippers. With this lightweight carryon the telescoping towing handle is also lightweight and I will gently use it to make it last. The wheels move in all directions and move easily. I checked with a lot of airlines for their carryon maximum dimensions and this 20" (which is really considered a 21.5" with wheels) qualifies for carryon. Note: this is probably not the case if you use the expanded volume zipper or way overstuff it when an airline can get picky. I am happy with my choice.

The colors are even more vibrant than in the photo. Fabric is slightly glossy but not plasticky, so doesn't look cheap. The front pockets are perfect. Telescoping handle and 360 wheels are very smooth. Excellent suitcase all around!

I bought the elephant in both the smaller and larger suitcase. I bought the shoulder bag as well. A bit pricey, but I love the print, they're sturdy, and roomy. I love that the top flips open and that the bag can expand an extra couple inches. Only traveled with them by car, but very happy with them.

Love the pattern

Overall I do like this bag. It holds quite a bit,and the design is both pretty & easily identifiable if one needs to check it at the airport. There's just two things that I want to mention. First, I rather wish the wheels were a big larger/wider, as they do have a little trouble if there's a gap on the ground or if the surface changes from one type to another (and it's a little difficult to navigate on escalators). Second, and to me this is IMPORTANT: If you use the extender area, this bag will NOT fit into the overhead storage bins. On flight #1, I didn't use it, and the bag fit just fine. However, I tried using the extension on my 2nd flight, and it didn't work. (I doubted it would, but decided to try it anyway, and that was a mistake - I had to hurriedly take a bunch of stuff out of the outer pockets & cram them in my bag to go under the seat, and even then it took some shoving to get the bag to fit overhead). But if you keep that in mind, then this is a nice little bag that has some very useful compartments (including 2 inside pockets specifically for shoes). I think the material will hold up well, and unlike so many of the new, shiny, hard cases, it won't have issues about getting scratched. Get this one and have fun traveling!

I love this suitcase! It is so much lighter than the old one I was using, which was probably 50 years old. The wheels spin freely. The fabric design is perfect since I use it for my 3 day knitting retreats. Perfect size.

I bought this Lily Bloom print in a large suitcase years ago from Marshall's. I love that the design is light colored and distinctive so it's easy to spot. Needless to say, I paid a wildly discounted rate, I think it was $40. So, when I saw that they had a small carry-on I put it on my Christmas list. I didn't care that it's pricey, I love the color, it's easily identifiable among the sea of black, gray, and navy blue suitcases, and it appears to be durable - it take a licking and keep on ticking. It's easy to maneuver through the airport and stays on track. Considering the price, I didn't think my husband would buy it for me but I forgot that he usually buys me everything I put on the list (I need to remember this next year and maximize my yearnings!) I'm very pleased with it. My only disappointment as when I originally bought it, I didn't take a close look at the pattern. I thought it was a dog print but upon closer investigation when I got it home I realized it was CATS! I'm a dog person and I'm not fond of cats but I'll just not concentrate on the print. Absolutely loved this bag and was so excited when I received it because of its uniqueness. It looked much bigger then our other carry on bags and unfortunately it was too big for Canadian and International travel. Had to return it because I would have worried before each trip.
