only 3/8’ thick…not 1.5”
The dimensions listed for the trivets are 7.01"L x 7.01"W x 1.5"Th. (These figures were copied directly from the listing) I would assume that “Th” refers to thickness. Each of the trivets that I received are only 3/8” thick. Not even close to 1.5” thick. See photo…I am holding the package of 4 trivets.

The 7 inch size of these trivets are perfect! They seem sturdy and will easily hold larger pots.

These are excellent. Nice weight and look nice in the table. I added round pads to the bottom so they don’t scratch my table. They came with pads but I didn’t feel they were adequate.

Using it as a soap dish
So, that's probably not usual, but it makes a great soap holder for in the shower. The other bonus is it's not expensive.
