I’ve never colored my hair, I just use this as we near summer (I live in FL) and my hair lightens by at least 3 shades. I love this stuff and it actually brings out the lighter tones and gradually lightens my hair without it feeling “yellow”.

If you want your hair lighter, this shampoo and conditioner duo is what you need! I am naturally a dark brunette. When I use John Frieda’s Go Blonder, my dark hair lightens and begins having beautiful highlights of caramel and blonde throughout. I’ve been using this product for several years now and definitely would recommend it!

Lightens on first wash! I could see results on my blonde highlights right away. The scent is nice and left hair smooth and hydrated after blow drying. I let hair air-dry another time and hair was smooth, had volume, and looked healthy! I bought again already.

Update 10/25 I’ve used this for a couple months and really do love it. It has brought out highlights in my hair and the scent and texture are really nice. My hair looks shiny and I get lots of compliments! I have fine dry hair and was worried this wouldn’t be nourishing enough but it’s working out well. I alternate with my richer conditioners for extra moisture a couple times a week. 8/25 It’s a pleasant enough shampoo and conditioner but I don’t know how it lightens. I used the go blonder spray too and that works, but it works the same no matter what shampoo and conditioner I use. not wow enough to reorder.

I have been looking for this product at every store and finally found it beer I love this shampoo and conditioner it makes my hair so soft manageable and blonder I highly recommend

I’m a natural light blonde but my hair can darken in the winter. This covers my gray roots and lightens my hair like I’ve been out in the sun ALL summer.

I bought this pair back in April 2026 it took three months for me to figure out that this shampoo pair from this vendor was tainted. I went to see my PCP about my head having raw sores, itching and felt like my scalp was burning up. My PCP thought it was dandruff bacteria however, I used the medicated dandruff shampoo and then would use this afterwards to keep the highlights in my hair and the combo made it worst. It suddenly occcured to me after two months of using dandruff medicated shampoo and still suffering with extreme itching and scalp burning with open sores. I mean, the worst I have ever felt in my life time. Imagine yourself, with itching and burning scalp. I stopped using this, and Low and behold, I solved the problem. Its been a slow healing on the scalp sores but I feel so much better no more itching and open raw sores. I also went to a sulfate shampoo. I had been using this John Frieda shampoo for a long time, but usually buy it at Walmart or Target and I did order on Amazon before and NEVER had anything like this happen. I happen to believe this was tainted. Just like they found eye drops blinded people after the fact. I am only writing her to aware people. If you ever feel a burning sensation with itching and raw sores its most likely the shampoo your using. I do not know if the vendor is from China or not, just saying. Three months now I finally feel normal. What a horrible experience I have had. Oh and I dont have dandruff at all never have.

Parece que o condicionador veio diferente do shampoo, pelo menos a embalagem é diferente. Mas em todo caso o condicionador é bem cheiroso, fiquei feliz pq condicionador e shampoo de camomila costumam ter cheirinhos bem ruins. Sobre o clareamento terei que usar por mais tempo para ver os resultados, mas já notei alguns reflexos bem mais claros após cada lavagem.

Produto clareia bem levemente com o uso prolongado. Ideal para cabelos sem química, do contrário prejudica o fio pois tem água oxigenada. Cacheadas devem cuidar bem dos fios após o uso.

Adoramos! Como é difícil encontrar aqui...ainda bem que tem na Amazon.
