This Lego set is well designed, with a lot of details to inspire kid’s imagination. Instructions are clear, step by step, and easy to follow. My daughter was fascinated to build it up until reaching to the last piece. With lighting it up in the darkness, she was satisfied with the treehouse, making it all by her self for consecutive five days. A good product to buy!

I am very impressed with the quality of the bricks, which snap and hold together, indistinguishable from the leading bricks. The design of the set is incredibly intricate. And be warned: This is a DIFFICULT project.There are a few flaws:* ORANGE--there are a LOT of orange bricks, and I mean bright orange. It's hard to understand why this color was used so much instead of others, but there you go.* CONSTRUCTION--the order of construction doesn't always make sense, with fragile elements often built before sturdier ones, leading to collapse and frustration.* INSTRUCTIONS--the printing quality of the manual overall is good but it can be VERY hard to identify exactly which brick is to be used, especially with the dark brown ones.* BAGGING--There are pieces you'll need for, say, section 6 that were in bag 2, confusingORANGE

My son has tons of legos and similar type builds. Some things he builds so quickly so I wanted to find something really special that could be challenging for both of us to work on. This took us about two weeks just slowly doing a bag or less each day while watching movies together. There are some parts that were harder to attach than others so he being only 7 years old needed my help. Also to make sure that all the pieces were pressed down tightly. Other than that I do believe a younger child could accomplish this project on their own as long as they have the patience.The detail in this tree house is INSANE. Even from the bottom base of the tree you will notice a complex door system with a ladder system up to the trap door which opens to the treehouse. There are so many cool nooks and crannies that are even covered over. If you lift on the house roof or peer into the windows you will see all this detail like bookshelves and bunkbeds etc- even a little pet frog in an aquarium. Then you have another set of winding stairs up to another treehouse. It is pretty massive when complete and definately something to display (or be played with). We felt very accomplished when done and it was a great bonding project to work on. The lights are also super cool and my son likes to transfer them to his other legos as well.

Spent approximately 6 hours to complete the build. The bricks are not as hard or sharp as Lego. Used to be concerned about buying non-lego brand because they seem to be loose and usually miss pieces. This one is just great fun and didn't have any of those issues. The finished product came out nice and i plan to put my minifigures below the tree. The only issue is this build is really huge and takes a lot of spaces so make sure you have the room for it.

My family members, a couple and two kids, are all Lego fans. It’s a challenge and fun set for us to work together. We worked on it for a whole day, plenty of building required and very creative design. Teamwork definitely helps. Very happy with the set!
