Clementoni 1500 el. The Tower of Babel [PUZZLE]

I ve just started building this piece and it is really good. Amazing colours and good texture. This is my third puzzle from Celementoni and so far I find them to be the best puzzle brand. Clementoni cut their puzzles into more distinct shapes than other manufacturers. Because of this I find Clementioni experience to be more cognitively rewarding. If i were to build a sky or sea water in Ravensburger or Trefl puzzle, it would be ab endless trial and error; too often shapes of their puzzles are very similar, to match a piece the surrounding pieces are also required, it becomes a guessing game. With Clementoni set the builder can look through 20 different sky or sea pieces, reduce the population to two or three that are most likely to fit based on the shape of the element and have the right piece in that small selection. So far I ve not found a better puzzle. I love that Clementoni encourage sampling in memory with a high success rate, as opposed to mindless trial and error i m reduced to many times whilst building puzzles from other brands.

Superb quality pieces. Great choice of stunning art masterpieces. Good size and number of pieces. Just hard enough to add enjoyment without being put off. Great value for money considering quality.

Very high quality and beautiful colours, can be challenging but overall enjoyable and nothing too difficult (just takes time and patience)

Usual good puzzle pieces

My first Clemontoni and I was expecting top notch quality from a comparison review I'd watched. All pieces present but it's definitely not in the same league as Schmidt or Ravensburger in terms of piece precision and thickness. As a result it won't hold together when picked up which makes it trickier to frame...it's still nice to make though, and it does the job as a puzzle.

This was a tough puzzle. The artwork itself has an interesting back-story, and it is typical of Breughel with tiny figures working away in the background. Several excellent examples of medieval construction techniques. Although the photo shows one piece missing this was found immediately after the photo was taken, so the jigsaw was complete. Usual Clementoni high quality, with fair piece shape variety and relatively few opportunities for piece misplacement. Challenging but enjoyable.

Astonishingly detailed (the original painting.) Despite this, it’s remarkably difficult as a jigsaw. Studying the detail as we try to complete it, it’s made me want to research both the painter, and the symbolism of the Tower of Babel.

Great puzzle! Looks amazing and we had hours of fun doing it :)

Quality is good but I've seen better.

I like it
