Great for aggressive patients with dementia.

These are much better than the ones he was sent home from the hospital with because they don’t have mesh. The mesh was rubbing his knuckles and leaving marks. The material on these does not cause that. Very pleased with these mittens

Safe, easy to use and stay in place

These arrived looking used. Soo gross. Even if they had arrived new I still would have returned them. They only have padding on one side and are huge so they can easily rotate them around. The non padded side is very thin cotton so it provides very little protection. You can easily grip and hit hard on the non padded side. The Velcro is cheap and scratchy.

I loved the mitts for my male senior citizen relative who suffers with dementia at times. My only problem with them is my rambunctious relative would eventually be able to wiggle his way out of them...so I bought some cut chains from the hardware store and 2 small gold locks to put around the mitted wrist to keep them on. And this worked. I only need to do this when I step out to do some household errands then I remove all of it when I return home.

Although they're comfortable for the patient, he was able to get them off using only the velcro tighteners at the wrist. I have to use tape in addition to the velcro tighteners in order to make them tighter, but not too tight, so that the patient cannot take them off.

Work great to prevent hurting one's self

This are nice and soft and can be worn without being uncomfortable ,when you wash them they come back like new. Good price and great quality . And they arrived very quickly.
