I've never picked up a realistic prop before, but it was a really great deal. and I couldn't pass it up. I am utterly impressed with the build quality and the overall aesthetic. This looks GORGEOUS. Does it look like one from the movies? No. Is it obviously a light saber? YES.Has several different sound effects activated by motion and button presses. They sound perfect and will be loud enough to be heard all around the house. The shutdown and activation sounds are very pleasing.Lighting is a mixed bag, though. There are a lot of different colors/effects, but it almost seems random which one you will get when you do the button press. Luckily, I really red on my saber and it frequently goes back to it. The fading orange/rainbow effect is awesome, but it's a bit showy for me.Extremely happy with my new lightsaber. I'm going to 3D print some accessories and really "movie" it up a few pegs, too. Lots of possibilities.

I'm a star wars fan, and I have been looking at the light sabers and they can get up there in price. I friend of mine told me about this one and had to get one to try out. I was not dissappointed, this one is amazing. First off, the material is rock solid. The metal hilt to the thicker plastic light bar is really nice quality. Secondly, the sound is spot on, where the wave to the hit of the light bar hall syncs in perfectly where it makes the look and feel just amazing. Lastly, it charges up fast and stays charged too. Lots of fun. Hard to show how nice this one is with just pics, so I did a short video to show. No cons, really works great, where I am very happy with the purchase.

A friend of my son had brought over a lightsaber very close to this one. So, when I came across this I really wanted to give it a try. The quality is quite good. The hilt is very solid feeling and has a good amount of weight. I feel like a lot of care went into the design. The plastic blade does a great job of capturing the color. The light sequence isn't animated when you turn it on or off, but that's ok.The multi-function button takes some time to get used to. There are many things that can be configured. Definitely will require looking through the owners manual to figure it out.My only complaint is that movement and bumping of the lightsaber isn't as accurate as other lower cost lightsabers I have owned. There's a bit of a delay when swinging and/or hitting something. If this were to be used for cosplay, I think you may be best to disable the sound effects.Overall, this is a very fun and high quality toy. I would recommend this over some cheaper alternatives, but don't expect perfection at this price point. You may have to spend a lot more to get a better experience.

Exactly as described. I got the grey hilt. It is heavy and feels sturdy. Love the multi colors. Some days you feel like being on the dark side....and some days not. This goes great with a multitude of cosplay characters. Very bright indoors. Intense colors. Tension screws hold the blade on. Very nice setup, and you can attach a second one (sold separately) to make the Darth Maul type saber. Also comes with wrench, extra screws, charging cable and grip tape.

Love this lightsaber. It’s the perfect addition to our Star Wars nursery. Even our toddler loves to play with it.
