These zip up to be about the size of a average cosmetics bag maybe a little smaller. And when I saw how small they were I was disappointed because I was looking specifically for something large for my 128 lb Labrador who can drink a gallon of water in like 2 and 1/2 minutes. But they actually unfold to be quite spacious. I can't remember exactly how much the listing claims that they hold, but it is more than you think. He is my ESD and he comes to work with me often and when we go on walks, living in South carolina, with him being a black lab, he overheats easily. So these are something light that I can easily snap to his harness (I have back problems and can't really carry extra stuff), and we can stop at any water source and just fill one up. Then zip it right back up and be on our way. They've actually been a surprising lifesaver and today we had to go on an exceptionally long car ride and he was hot because the AC in my car decided it didn't want to work anymore, so I poured a bunch of ice water into one of his bowls and because the fabric is heavy duty and squared instead of round, I was able to sit it flat on the back seat of my car and drive around for hours without it spilling or tipping. And whenever he got too hot he just laid down took a drink and then went back to sticking his face out the window. I highly recommend these I really love them and I wish I would have bought them sooner instead of buying cheaper plastic ones. Also, wonderful bonus that they are fabric and better for the environment.Love, love, love these.

We went on an extended camping trip with our dog and needed portable dishes for her. So I ordered these and they worked out great. Compact for packing and when in use they hold quite a bit. I could’ve easily put about 3-4 cups of food in there for her (she doesn’t get that much at one time). We never had a problem with water spilling or leaking out and dried quickly when done. Will definitely be keeping them ready to go for the next trip.

These bowls were perfect. We took a road trip to bring my daughter home from a University in another state and the Suburban was packed. The bowls were easy to store and grab when needed. They held alot of water and food for our 150lb dog.

There is nothing to dislike as the work very well. I would not recommend for "wet" food but dry and water separate is GREAT!

I have two 60 lb mutts who often travel with me. Before I was lugging their metal and ceramic bowls with me everytime we traveled. They always took so much space in the bag, were heavy, and I was always worried about them breaking.I decided to get these on a whim before a recent trip and I'm glad I did! They are so easy to open and shut, they fit 1 cup of dry food easily, and could definitely fit more, and they are so convenient!I like the two colors, because they help me remember whose food is whose, and I just threw them in the washing machine and dryer when we got home and voila, like new!I will never go back to traveling with their regular bowls again!

I bought these for my large malamutes to put food in while camping. I was afraid they were going to be too small but they are a great size. Still had plenty of room after adding their portions in the bowls. They are also easy to clean and easy to fold back together and put away. Very glad I got these!
