Drinking Water Tap With Push Lever - For Filtered Water

Good Value
Not for rough/commercial use but good enough for reasonable domestic use and very good value. Amazon suggest you also purchase push-fit adaptor but not necessary for industry standard 1/4" (od) pipe as tap has suitable compression fitting included. If you find low pressure means the built-in fitting is too restrictive then the suggested push-fit adaptor can be retro-fitted to increase flow but adds about 30% to cost.

Complete tap and fittings for 1/4" plastic pipe
The tap comes with all fittings and instructions which was good as the tap i was replacing had the 1/4 " plastic pipe cemented in, so was able to cut the pipe off the old tap and refit to the new tap with nut, Olive and pipe insert provided. The nut used to secure the tap is fitted in a plastic carrier meaning it can be tightened easily by hand. The only negative was the base plate was a lot larger than the old tap which could necessitate using the base plate from the old tap.Durability Unknown but it functions well with no leaks. Hope it lasts 19yrs like the one it's replacing.

It works
Needed to replace an old tap that had a damaged tap. Read the reviews and opted for this one. The spout is quite wobbly when the tap is not engaged. The tap is two way, press down and hold, or flip up to lock in the open position. The spring is quite strong and I would suspect the plastic lever won't last long if you just flick it closed.Fitting was simple, and just required the 1/4" pipe to be inserted into the connection - no compression fitting on this model

Strange stem size/design.
Works with 1/4" tubing only. If you have existing 3/8" tubing don't buy unless you want to buy 1/4" to 3/8" adapter and the short length of 1/4" tubing needed to connect to the stem. A standard 7/16 to 3/8 adapter as recommended purchase will not work with the thread/stem.

Good replacement
Bought this as it was a reasonable price. Once it arrived it was good quality. The pipe size was slightly bigger than my existing tap, so further drilling was needed. Next the connecting pipe needed an adapter to fit to my existing filtered water supply. Spoke to the manufacture who sent one the same day and it’s all up and working
