Very sturdy and does the trick!
Great value. Impressed by the sturdiness and overall weight to these things. They’ve done me well for a couple joinery projects so far. Would recommend!

Works great, but flimsy. It is plastic and not metal!
It’s not the products fault for the 4 out of 5 stars. I bought these knowing they were plastic. They just aren’t for really heavy material! I’d say 1/2” materials max! Quick easy DIYs they are great, I don’t recommend for building cabinets.

Heavy well-made tool, just too big for my application
I wanted to use this for repairing/re-squaring small to medium picture frames but it was too large and heavy for this application. Returned

When you need a third hand to hold things together.
Not clamping strength but great at holding corners together when assembling. This set has a few extras that allow for use with thinner stock and for clipping odd angles.

Springs pops out. Not strong at all.
It's fine for picture frames. Anything else bigger, buy something better.

1.25 inch width is pushing it
This is a good concept, but trying to get a 1.25 inch width picture frame to fit in it was very difficult. It took one person to pull back and hold the spring-loaded clamp (it's a strong spring and not the easiest thing to pull back to the max), and another person to force the frame into the clamp. Once we got the corners in, the corners didn't quite close completely together, but we're hoping it'll be close enough. The wooden frame we're trying to repair has some contoured and rounded edges, which seems to effect the way the clamp fits the wood. If you have a basic, flat, wooden frame that's no wider than about an inch, this would probably work perfectly.
