I love this little guy! He’s perfect for my rice, I love the flat bottom and the grip on the handle. It was amazingly cheap and I’ve had it for 3 years now, it hasn’t cracked or broken and it goes in the dishwasher just fine.

Bought this specifically because it was advertised as nonstick. I wouldn't say it's 100% nonstick, but it's pretty close and rice doesn't really stick to it in any meaningful way, so I'll take it. The standout feature for me is that it can stand upright on its own, which sounds like a small thing but makes a big difference when you're cooking. No more resting it on the counter or hunting for a spoon rest. Simple, practical, and does the job well!

This is working well with rice and quinoa so far. Sturdy, good size and as long as you don't let the food dry out on the paddle it's easy to clean. It's hit or miss on the handle standing up. When it does, it's a great feature.

High quality silicone rice scooper. I love that it can stand up right so I don't have to dirty my counter tops. I wish it was slightly more non stick but it definitely sticks if your rice is on the wetter side. If you wet the spatula under running water then use it, less rice sticks to it. Overall I am happy with the purchase. 4 stars since it is not as non stick as I expected.

I bought a rice cooker recently (LIFE CHANGING FYI) and it came with a cheap flimsy plastic spoon. We bought this as a better alternative for scooping the perfectly cooked rice out of the rice cooker. This lil’ lady is strong, sturdy, easy to clean, and she stands on her own…literally! Highly recommend!

I still have memory of the inner pot of my old Japanese rice cooker completely scratched up. All I ever used was the plastic paddle that came with it. Now I have a new Japanese rice cooker, so I want to see if I can keep the inner pot non-stick coating in better shape longer. It just came upon me that the free rice paddle the cooker came with might be the potential problem. I found this silicone rice paddle and decided to give it a try. I am so impressed. It has a good weight and sits on the counter very well. The edge of the paddle definitely feels softer than the plastic paddle of my cooker. When I use this paddle I feel much better about preserving the coating of my cooker inner pot. Another amazing thing about this is that rice barely sticks to it at all. I have cooked short grain, long grain and black rice. When I fluff or scoop rice with the paddle, unlike the plastic rice paddle which easily got rice stuck to it, this is almost like no rice stuck to it at all. My visiting mom wants to get a few of this paddle to give as gifts when she goes back home as she is also so impressed.
