My grandson thought this ball was amazing.

Initial product defective
This was a Christmas present. The product comes flattened in the packaging and when we opened it Christmas morning it does not expand into a ball like its supposed to. I did request a replacement that they are sending and will update the review once replacement item is received. UPDATE: changing rating to ONE star. Received new product today and it has the same exact issue, it does not pop open into a ball, it barely pops open at all. My son like the one at his grandparents house (different brand) and that one actually pops up into the air into a ball. This one does not really even pop open at all.

Was going to return but I fixed it
Like most have said in reviews, this ball only became a saucer at most and not a full ball. I bent the plastic by pushing inward on the ball and it now opens up to a functioning ball. Flawed design when you first take it out of the packaging but fixable if you have the patience.

Partially squashed
Doesn't return to ball shape...and it's a little hard, so it hurts when you get hit with it.

Fun!!
My son had an event at his school and you would get prizes for how much money was donated. There was a ball like this that he really wanted but he had to get $500 in donations and that wasn’t happening so instead I came on here and gave this to him after the event and let him know how hard he worked on getting his donations.

Not all phat balls are equal
I’ve bought phlat balls before but this one just seems to be poor quality compared to what I’m used to, it doesn’t go into ball form more of a deflated whoopie cushion

Hard to get the ball flat and would stay flat during the throwing process. Save your money.
