I got these for my two boys for night lights. They are so cute! Both boys loved them! Even my eight year old wanted one. The boys carry them around all day. I personally don't like the flickering light, but it is dim enough for a night light. The brighter white light is very nice for camping or fun tents. At night, I just draped a light-weight cloth over the lantern, so that it is dim enough for night (for me anyway). Very worth the price!

when i opened the box i actually laughed because these were so small.. but we took them camping and they are actually incredibly bright and my kids love the “fire” setting.. they also love how small and cute they are. 100% would recommend!

I got these for play tents for my youngest 2 grands and they love them! The flickering light looks like a real lantern and the regular light is good enough for them to read by!

These will be great for camping for our 2 and three year old. If your child is older I’d probably skip. But for the price for two I’m happy with these.

Cute but too small to actually be functional

I got these to put in my daughters’ Christmas stockings. They’re both at an age where they love flashlights and are often misplacing mine. Now they will have their own to use for reading, playing games, etc. The flicker setting is absolutely adorable. Takes 3 aaa batteries each, and the battery compartments are NOT childproof so be aware.

I bought these for my mum as they take triple A batteries which she always has in and the advert suggested that they have a long battery life. Having recently experience a powercut I wanted her to have some emergency lighting. They are very small but surprisingly bright. There are two setting,s a bright white and a yellow colour presumably to replicate a flame which it doesn't but then they are aimed at children. They are simple to use with one button and will definitely be handy in an emergency.
