Bosch Cordless Combi Drill EasyImpact 18V-40 (1 Battery, 18 Volt System, in Carrying case)

Great drill! Bought few months ago. Powerful, easy to use and feels well-built. It handled the job with ease and the battery lasts well. Very happy with the purchase.

I’m really happy with this drill. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Bosch: sturdy, comfortable to hold, nicely balanced, and the LED light is genuinely useful. I’ve already used it for hanging shelves, putting up curtain rails, and drilling into brick for a TV mount. It goes through everything with no effort at all. The clutch settings are excellent for screwdriving and I haven’t had any stripped screws since using it. Yes, it’s a brushed model rather than brushless, but for normal home DIY it’s absolutely fine. I haven’t noticed any downside at this price and the battery lasts a long time for the jobs I do. Overall, an amazing drill and great value.

About 2 years ago, I bought a great Chinese manufacturer's drill and it's still going strong but they won't sell additional batteries and I can't find an equivalent anywhere. So I decided to buy this as I know you can get batteries for it. So it's great quality and comes with a charger. The carry case is good as well. It holds and releases bits with a simple twist of the chuck without any real effort. I drilled a brick with a brand new small masonry bit and it sank into material fairly quickly in 2nd gear at moderate speed. The drill bit didn't come loose while drilling and that is important! So now, I will get a greater capacity battery in the near future and will also feel confident to purchase other Bosch bare tools in the same range. Added Later... I've been using this on and off for a few weeks now! I bought an extra 2.5 ah battery but I have found that the fully charged 1.5 ah battery has lasted well. I have been drilling walls into the the brick and it is performing well with 4 and 5mm Bosch Masonry bits. I want to reiterate that this drill is very good for DIY tasks and is now my go to hammer drill.

A good all purpose drill for those small DIY jobs around the home.

Core fix requires you to drill a 10mm hole quite deep (about 100mm) through the plasterboard and into the solid masonry block behind it. A 10mm hole in masonry is a "heavy" task for an entry-level cordless drill. The Bosch has a slightly better hammer mechanism and motor torque, which will make drilling those 10mm holes much less of a struggle than the Black+Decker.” I’m happy with this purchase. :)

As expected from Bosch it's well made. The chuck has good capacity, and the battery lasts well. Just been using on a garden project, drill then screw, many many times, its been a time saver.
