The bag is really hard to open, but I was panicking because the water was backing up in our bathroom, so that might have had something to do with it. Although they didn't soak up as much water as I thought they were going to, I'm glad I got them because they came in handy. The horses did eventually end up busting a couple of them open by stepping on them but that is completely understandable and I do not fault the product at all. The bags were there for two full months without that happening.
