Suppose that Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ted Bundy all got together and said "Hey, guys, let's all make a movie!" It would probably be something like this. The V.S. series, especially the first two, are like something that a real psychopath would actually produce. Not like a slick Hollywood production, but more like something you'd see on some strange and very creepy website (the kind that we've been warned to avoid). For this, I recommend something at least 80 proof.

I've heard about the first two V.S. movies since they came out but I had never really gotten a chance to see them until now. And they definitely lived up to what I've heard/read about them.While the effects are comically over the top and lack the unsettling technical skills seen in flicks like the Guinea Pig films, it's obvious why they were banned in various countries upon release.Great fun if you have an open mind and a lowbrow brain.

Terrible movies from the word go. Nothing redeeming about them. I threw them away. A waste of money.

Well it's all here, very low budget German gorefest, definitely one for the hardcore horror fans, I found it to be watchable with dodgy acting, which at times looked like it was filmed on a camcorder, the first one is very low quality but as the films followed on they got slightly better, probably the fourth one was the best.

Story is non existent. Gore is lacking. I understand for the time and what it is, it was impressive, but not for me.

Only 1 disc was in the package, Zombie '90. What a waste of $25.00. Missing 2 disc. How can this happen?

Until now, I have seen only the first two movies of this set. If you are intersted in this set, you know what kind of movies these are. These first two were shot on poor elements (Video-8 and maybe 8MM?) The transfers are ultra clean and of course I recommend this set!!! Why DVD? Probably a financial concern...
