does this come with a glock hard case?

Mine came in a plastic Umarex case with foam interior, like almost all of my Umarex replica .177 guns have come in. It’s a slightly bigger case, which I like, because the .43 call Glock 17, together with the provided accessories for cleaning, don’t fit so snugly as with other Umarex plastic cases I have.

A customer photo has finger grooves on the grip... how? As I understand this only comes w gen5 backstraps n nothing else able to modify grip...?

The T4E Glock 17 has a textured grip, but no "finger grooves" as I believe you are trying to describe. I also have the backstops, which makes the G17's grip bigger in your hand, but they have the exact same texture as the stock grip does. No "finger grooves". There are YouTube videos on the installation and look of the backstraps. Hope this helps.
