Doesn’t Work
The throttle broke after using it once. It’s hard to shift and gets stuck in neutral. Don’t buy!

Crap product
This product was cheap crap and broke upon first cruise. So I just got an original mercury one instead. You live and learn, don’t buy after market and try to save cash, it will not be worth it and end up costing you more in the long run.

Wouldn't shift motor into gear.
Installed it in my boat only to find out that it would only shift into reverse. Thinking it was probably my fault due to shift linkage, I checked everything only to find that the issue was internally. The lever that was responsible for pulling the gear shift cable would slip or not engage the internal gears of the shifter. Since I tore it down that far I decided not to even attempt to get a refund. Ended up just getting a complete different set up. Will never order this control again.

Works as listed but handle is sloppy. A little hard to find neutral. All connections were fine and directions were adequate.

Trim tab broke after not even 3 months of owning at and taking the boat out less then 5 times in the 3 months, this is crap do not buy. I had to order another trim tab originally from mercury. Crap!!

Product failed after using a 3rd time
Control box failed. I could not go into reverse. My mechanic installed it son it was professionally done. I would not buy any products from this company again

Do your research before you buy!!!
It's great but does not fit universally. Does not fit Gen II cables. If you try to switch from a side mount to a top mount, do your research and get the right controls.
