The best one yet!
I'm on my third product version here. Either this is the sturdiest one or somehow my kitty knows not to sever the cord anymore with his teeth. He did that with the first two and then he was left without his favorite game. Great exercise for indoor cat. Place it high enough so your cat has to jump - so you may have to knot the cord at the top. My kitty's body is long. He also knows how to capture the mouse by grabbing it in his teeth and pulling it tight around furniture. My furniture placement had changed by the time I bought this third version toy, so he isn't able to wrap the toy much. He pops the toy off the door jam at times, but it's part of the fun. He also has to have me rescue it when the mouse gets flung over the door.

Not recommended
The media could not be loaded. My cats 11 months. As you see he went after the string got all the toys off with his teeth. I’m thinking for cats younger than what he is. And I wouldn’t recommend them being unsupervised especially with the string

Cat loves it
My cats love this they play with it all the time. Your cat might chew the string and the mouse will go missing but if you find it you can just retie it with a basic knot. My cat loves the mouse so much it makes a little rattle sound too.

My cats love the mouse
My cats love the mouse but didn’t care for the balls. It does leave some residue/scuffs on the wall, but we also are using it in a door way that doesn’t have a frame. It keeps my cats engaged and it’s their favorite toy in the house! The elastic does break after some chewing, but my cats still love the mouse and carry it around the house!

Door toys
My cats and I both enjoyed these hanging toys. But I pulled them down after Khai wrapped himself up in the elastic cord and it was tightening around his neck. My son had to cut the cord to get it off him. Just be careful when playing with these toys. I pull them down when I'm leaving or at night. JUST TO BE SAFE. otherwise my cats love them. Khai loves to pull them as fast as the cord will stretch and then let's them go and chases after them. It is fun to watch.

Exceptionally dangerous. This toy almost killed my cat.
There is nothing good about this toy. My cat did love it, but the way the toy rebounds and snaps around, it is very easy for it to get looped around a cat (or maybe even a curious dog, and definitely a toddler). We had it less than three hours and I got this feeling that something was wrong, and I go through the house to find my cat caught up in this thing - looped around the neck and under one leg, with the toy on the end snagging the elastic cord. It kept the cord from releasing and as he struggled to get free it tightened. He was frothing at the mouth and was only able to breathe. However, that metal part that attaches over a doorway is very sturdy, and sold separately would be great for hanging plants, etc - which is what I use it for now.
