Korean Clothes Hanbok Story (Korean Edition) Paperback – January 17, 2018

I knew this book and was very excited to be able to buy a copy. The pictures are exquisite. It's absolutely beautiful, and informative, and the design patterns are just what I needed, as are the explanations and historical notes. IT IS IN KOREAN, except for a name or two of each outfit or item in English, and for the pronunciation guides in English for each outfit. For example, "상투 Sangtu".This book covers all the fashions from the 500-years of the Joseon period in exquisite, meticulous details. My only wish is a companion book to this one for the fashions from the earlier eras, specifically The Three Kingdoms historical period, covering the fashions of Gogoryo, Baekjae, and Silla.DELIVERY: The book arrived 2 weeks EARLY, which was a great and pleasant surprise!!! It was shipped by the seller in South Korea by FedEx, and arrived insulated and immaculate. I was VERY impressed!!

This is a beautiful picture book of Korean dress through the ages. It is almost entirely in Korean with just the names of the outfits in English, so I cannot read the book, but I get the gist of how the dress evolved and what everyone is wearing.
