I’ve been using Aquaphor Children’s Itch Relief Ointment, and it’s been a really reliable go-to for soothing irritated skin. The first thing I noticed is how quickly it works. Got the ok to use this on my 4 month old, she was having patchy dry and red spots all over her body, and her skin felt like sandpaper. I assumed it was eczema but the pediatrician wasn’t sure. He prescribed me an anti-fungal first and it made it worse. Then I tried this ointment and literally after the first application the next day the redness was completely gone, and after a couple more days of applying it once a day her skin was smooth and completely back to normal. It literally worked like magic when nothing else did, now I can go back to regular moisturizing to maintain and use this for flare ups.
