I purchased a new memory foam mattress in the past year, I purchased the medium firm version because I didn’t want one that was too soft or too firm and thought that medium would be the obvious choice….IT WASN’T!! My bed was SO HARD that I could only sleep on it for a night or two then I would have to sleep on the couch for a night or two. Every night that I slept on this mattress I would wake up multiple times throughout the night and each time my back would hurt and it actually felt like my organs were hurting (I know that sounds weird but it’s the only way I know to describe it). I could only sleep on my back because if I slept on my side it would hurt my hips and shoulders (I’ve had surgery on my left shoulder and it would make that side hurt exponentially worse) Over the past year I’ve purchased several mattress toppers trying to soften this mattress up but nothing has helped. I was getting ready to buy a whole new mattress and just trash this one when I found this topper and decided to give it one last shot. I’M SO GLAD I DID!! I can now sleep through the night and in any position, even my left side that I had shoulder surgery on. The foam layer is very thick and the pillow topper gives it enough soft cushion to make it feel like you are sleeping on a supportive cloud. It did make my bed quite a bit higher, if I was shorter I may need a stool to get into bed (I’m 5’7”). I recommend this to anyone who complains about back pain or their bed. I believe this would even make a too soft bed better.I’ve seen some reviews talking about a smell and needing to air it out before using it but I did not experience this issue and I didn’t need to let it expand very long, it was at full height in less than an hour, probably more like 20 minutes.If you are looking for an amazing mattress topper BUY THIS NOW!! GREAT PRODUCT, It took me a long time to decide to change this mattress. I always thought a firm one was the best for your body. I'd always had back pain, and recently I'd lost weight, and the pain had increased significantly. I finally decided to change it. It took me several hours to search for the best ones, reviews, and prices. Surprisingly, I found this one, and it met all the expectations and the price surprised me (cheap 😍).When I opened it, it came in blue and white, and I didn't like it because on the website it only appears is blue, but hey….you know Karen always complaining 😂.I left it overnight to let it spread properly and get rid of the smell (which really isn't much). Once installed on my bed and with the pillowcase, it looked good. The pillowcase is a little big, but I tucked it under the mattress and that solved it.From the first day I felt relief and thought I was crazy, it was impossible to feel the change overnight… but yes, and so the days passed and now I wake up without pain in my back “great relief, no more pills.”I've already washed the case, and it seems very good. I don't know how long the foam quality will last, because I just bought it, but if it lasts at least a year, the price is affordable, and I really hope it lasts longer than that.Now sleep is more pleasant because when I move and no longer feel pain, my mind thinks it's a bed at the best hotel, but it's not mine.Something to take advantage of since I didn't spend so much on this, I bought a couple of pillows that are said to be good for those of us who sleep on our stomachs and they really worked.100% RECOMMENDED PRODUCT (and I never post reviews but it's worth it here) Good luck 🍀👍

Very, very comfortable. I use this in addition to a 14” hybrid mattress. The experience has been life changing. When I say hunty, I don’t want to get out my bed because it be hugging me. Not a sinking hug, but just comforting. Maybe it’s the combination of the two, but I just love it. When I tell you I haven’t had a hip or back pain since day one. The best sleep in a long time. I am 5’11” 220lbs so I am not a small girl, but I’m a happy, well rested one. It’s very thick, 4”. It came with a top cover large enough to fit the 18” in total plus more if needed. It firm but soft and comforting at the same time. Very good quality for what I paid. There is no zippers on the one I purchased, just the topper itself and a thick cover layer. The topper is cooling. I sleep hot and have not waken up sweating since I’ve been sleeping on it. It’s very new so I will come back in a few months with an update but so far so good. This topper is amazing. Get you one babes.

I visited a friend that had this mattress topper on the bed in her guest bedroom. It is so comfortable. Just enough firmness. I've ordered 2 of them for my own guest bedrooms. The memory foam is thick but and soft. I would recommend.

It’s soft and comfy but after using it for a bout 8 months we put it on a spare bed because it held the heat in your body which made the topper hot. We bought it because it was suppose to have a cooling gel in it. We tried it again recently on our bed hoping our bodies were cooler. But it’s still very warm to sleep on. 😞

My mattress is too hard. I was using a gel foam topper that turned out to not have longevity. My partner was falling into a crack that had developed in it at night! I've used a good gel foam topper in the past from a company that no longer makes them. I was stressing about whether to bite the bullet and buy a new bed or if I should get one of the expensive name brand options out there. Neither felt like a great solution, and the reviews for this product were promising. I got the 4 inch plush option, and it turned out to be much better than a regular foam topper. It gives a feeling that you're on a high quality bed as opposed to slapping a remedy on top of something that is too hard in order to make it bearable. I don't sink into it like you do with memory foam, but it's soft enough that it doesn't press hard on vulnerable spots and increase my chronic pain. It also doesn't slide around on top of my mattress like my last topper. I got it on sale, so it was extra worth it.

Bought a mattress that was just too firm. This topper turned it into a plush. Very impressed. Yes, the cone side does face down against ur mattress. You will need extra deep pocket sheets as it adds a few inches 2 the depth of ur mattress. Liked the added cover not so much 4 the padding but I am a hot sleeper and it prevents me from sleeping directly on the foam so I don't overheat. Haven't found mine moves as some have stated in other reviews

I have been sleeping on a 3 inch sleep innovations mattress topper for the past 10 years, this is not even close to what I have. I dont know what happened to their quality but I'm returning this with disappointment as they have cheapened their product with this kind of cut of topper. Some of these cuts are 2 inches to 2.5 inches it varies across the topper and not 3 inch as advertised. Its just doesn't fit the same quality they had before.

My Douglas mattress was too firm, it’s not very old so I didn’t want to change it out.I looked at mattress toppers. I wanted something decent. I have this one a try and bingo no more sore arms plus I sleep better.Morrisburg ON Canada

I never used to wake up with back pain but it's happened literally every morning since I started using this topper (about 4 weeks and counting). The soreness subsides within 15 minutes or so of getting out of bed, but it's still not an ideal way to start the day. It's also very squishy with no bounce at all.
