This GE surge protector power strip is exactly what I was looking for, simple, sturdy, and reliable. The 6-foot cord gives plenty of reach without excess clutter, and the outlets are spaced well enough to accommodate larger plugs. It feels well made and secure, and I like the peace of mind knowing my electronics are protected from power surges. The on/off switch is easy to access and works smoothly. Overall, it’s a solid, no-nonsense power strip that does its job well and is perfect for home or office use.

It act as extension cord, surge protector AND power strip. Even though it doesn't have any smart futures, this is a quality device. It also has flathead insert, thick wire for higher ampere usage (there are many flimsy power cord that is rated for 15A or 20A but has thin wire that actual is firehzazard. This is not one of them). You can twist individual power output so you don't have anyone or anything accidentally inserting things into the hot electricity. This power cord is very well made and price is great too.

Well, it is a power bar. It is a well-known brand and reliable. It functions as a surge protector and hopefully does that job exceptionally. Currently I have an Xbox, a large TV, and a fan plugged into the bar and it has not disappointed yet. If you are looking for a safe bet on a quality power bar, I would recommend this product.

I love that these surge protectors have cords long enough to reach around furniture. Older buildings often don't have outlets where you need them. Also, the safety feature of closing the unused outlets is so handy. I got 2 for the price of one at any other store. GE is a good solid brand that knows how to make an effective sturdy product, so I won't have to replace these for a very long time.
