Product really does work
Heres what you want to know. Product works as advertised because its a clone of the Torras Coolify neck fan, although this is not as flexible but you save $100. The aluminum piece (in the middle) that cools the back of your neck works because it has its own fan that is designed to pull body heat from your neck and expel it behind you as hot air, thus, cooling you down.Test results.AC option = Battery drains 1% every 60 seconds (1 minute) with fan (can be used by itself or with fan)Fan only, lowest setting = battery drains 1% every 550 seconds or ~9minWith the AC option on, it lasts 1 hourWith the Fan on lowest setting, it lasts ~10 hoursHaven't tested the speed of charging but i'll guess its about 1% every 2 minutes.LOVE THIS ITEM!! Be aware that there is a plastic film over the aluminum that needs to be peeled off. Leaving the plastic film on it dulls the cooling ability.update April 24 2022 - For those with long hair, the aluminum part doesn't work very well (AC feature), because its limited in the amount of air it can push away before it starts to recycle the same hot air it just pushed away. You can use a pony tail where the hair is angled up and doesn't touch your shoulders as the solution to enable the AC feature to work properly. This device also has the same problem if you are laying down in a bed with the AC feature on, it doesn't work properly. Also if your in a chair with a back and neck rest such as an airplane seat. The more space between the AC exhaust and whatever is behind you the better it will perform. But the fan feature works perfect while laying down in a bed or in an airplane seat. Also tested it when it was 95f in the shade under a tree. Just using the device on fan speed 1, was able to keep me from sweating while not moving. Device worked great, felt so much better with the fan on than without it. Remember to use the lowest settings 1 to save as much battery life as you can so it lasts ~10 hours if your working all day in the sun. Otherwise, you should use the following hybrid approach. Keep in mind that using the AC feature DRAINS the battery very fast, so you should use it sparingly.-While inside an AC'd building/vehicle, turn it off-While outside, keep it at level 1-When you start to sweat, turn the AC feature on and keep fan speed 1-When sweating stops, turn the AC feature off, keep fan speed 1 (for me its about 5min with AC on before I need to turn it off to save battery)Using the above steps has allowed me to get 3 hours of intermittent usage out of it, which was useful in visiting Disney. I dislike that I have to manage the device so often, but really, theres no other choice. All of these things have poor battery life when it comes to the AC feature and the only other solution is to add more battery, which makes it heavier. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit heavier, but certainly don't want it to be too heavy to be unwieldy.

Helps keep you cool but not to the extent of the product description
Helps keep you cool but not to the extent of the product description. I work in home health in Texas and this summer The heat has been brutal. This little device is definitely helpful and does keep me cooler but I still perspire just not to the same extent. The cooling feature works better indoors than outdoors, The fan is plenty powerful. The price is about middle of the road for this type of fan. If using the fan and the AC, it drains the battery fairly quick; within two hours. It charges quickly. I might recommend it to somebody depending on what they’re using it for. Not sure if the pricier ones are any better. I would say this works for what I purchased it for; to stay cooler while working. The price is fair.

Decent Quality
Strait out the box (with partial charge) the product looks pretty good and the fan feels nice. BUT the "cooling plate" ... only feels good UNTIL the unit starts to overheat (within a few minutes) (defeating the purpose of a "cooling plate"). I actually felt cooler without it. I wouldn't buy again but it was a Prime Day sale, so it wasn't terrible and will be used for the time being.

Battery doesn't last long
It works okay but it's a very heavy around the neck and battery doesn't last long I have to find something more lighter around the neck and longer battery life this just won't do it for me

It does exactly what I needed it to do.
I overheat 24/7. I’m constantly sweating and it’s honestly the most embarrassing thing and it controls my entire life. I’m a teacher, so it’s the worst when it happens at school. I’m sitting in class and down come the sweats. I have to leave class literally everyday, usually hits right after 4th hour, to go to the bathroom and towel dry my hair and face. Today was the first day I used the neck fan so I can’t comment on the battery life, but as soon as I felt myself starting to overheat I put the device on and it helped cool me down instantly. I love the cold metal plate that rests on the neck. I have 0 complaints. I will update in a few weeks and let you know how it’s held up & the battery life.

So far so good.
Used it for a eight hour shift and it worked great. Takes some getting used to having it on your neck and sound of the fan, but after a while I didn’t even think about it.

If it worked all the time it wld be great
I charged it fully before the first use and after the charge went below 76% it wouldn't cool. Only the fan would work. Great idea if it actually worked all the time.
