I have purchased a total of three of these bowls over the past few years. My cat, Lion-O, is a Maine Coon Mix. He is half my size, so very tall and weighs about 18 pounds. These bowls are very sturdy, but he is also a very gentle guy and doesn't move his dishes when he eats, but if he were to push on them, they wouldn't move. They are easy to clean and the paint hasn't worn off even though they are washed daily. One is for wet food one is for dry food. I get him the 7.2" one since he is so tall, and he can sit and eat and be comfortable. He only vomits about once a month if he doesn't have enough grass to digest his hair balls, otherwise these dishes are perfect! I will be buying two more just to keep on hand. I recommend these for any size cat or dog. I make sure to have a good grip on them when washing as they are ceramic and can slip from your hand when washing if your grip isn't suitable. I have yet to find a taller or wider bowl. My cat has long whiskers and this bowl is wide enough that it doesn't bother his whiskers and can lick the bowl clean! Would give 10/5 stars if I could.

I have gone through so many different cat bowls. This one is on the top of the list. It is wide enough for the cat to get their whole face in it. It’s high enough so that they won’t have to stress themselves stretching their neck down to eat, and It’s not too deep. They’re able to lick the entire bowl with no frustration of not being able to get into the corners. I’ve used other ones before and none of them are designed as well as this one.

My Maine Coon cat had ear surgery for cysts. He is in an Elisabeth Collar for 14 days. It was impossible for him to drink water. We needed something bigger to hold 1 1/2 cups of water. Great bowl, adorable design and good quality.Kitty seems to approve.
