No wobble
If you have a magsafe case, this will definitely serve you well. The pivot points are stiff enough to ensure your phone doesn’t shake when driving, but can be a slight challenge to fold away behind screen if you want to tuck it away.Searched many phone mounts with charging capabilities for a long time before settling on this. Ended up using my own usb-c to usb-c cable so that the majority of wire can be hidden (it plugs to back ac vents area).Suggestion: tuck the wire into the crevices on driver’s side of centre console (much easier than you think)Cons: does not charge quickly, but even with navigation and hotspot enabled, it does charge positive in the endTLDR: strong hold; slow charge

charger gets hot
not sure if I got a defective item, but the charger gets pretty hot even with no phone on it, and transfers a good amount of heat to any phone that is attached to it.the stick-on ring it comes with isnt metal but a flexible plastic impregnated with magnetic particles like a flexible fridge magnet. not a very strong hold, but not too terrible either. the problem is that 1) it's pretty thick compared to metal rings and 2) the adhesive easily melts under the heat of the charger.to make matters worse, the charger doesn't seem to like 3rd party stick on metal rings... the phone will initially recognize the charger, but quits charging within 15 seconds.i do really like the mount portion, so my solution was to buy the very basic $20 version with a standard magnet, and then buy a separate 15w vent clip charger with the same size ball mount. the one i got was a ZOOAUX brand 15w, and it works beautifully

It's great, when it works!
Previous issues I've always had with magnetic mounts is that metal plates often interferes with wireless charging. I would say is that the idea of these halo metal plates are a great idea and allows my phone to be charged wirelessly. The adhesive works wonders and I haven't had any problems with it, after mounting it behind my Mach-E infotainment system. Overall, it works well... when it works. The issue I have is that the wireless charging seems to disable itself when it gets a bit warm. At first I couldn't understand why it would just stop periodically, but with hotter days, I've noticed this pattern. I can understand there's likely a safety function to disable it if it gets too hot, but from the touch, it's just kinda warm, and not something I would consider particularly hot.So when it works, it's perfect for what I bought it for. But with summer incoming, I can see the wireless charging function is just going to be useless. Bought one for my wife, and noticed similar behavior. Knowing what I know now, I would've just bought the non-charging version. Definitely wouldn't pay $40 for this again.

Good mount, sub par charger
Mounting is good and solid but charger is very slow and only adds a few % point to my iPhone 11 battery over an hour drive

Amazing device
I use this with my S22 Ultra in my Tesla Model 3. It charges pretty quickly for wireless charging, about 1400ma speeds

Waste of Money!!!
Broke within first week of use. The charger began to go bad. Began to stop charging had to unplug or reset the phone. Then the charging unit just broke off. I’ve only had it a week with limited use!!

Strong magnet but poor adhesion
This MINDSKY Magnetic Wireless Car Charger Phone Mount for Tesla 3/ Y/S/X holds my husbands iPhone 11 Pro Max strong enough with a magsafe case on. It's nice in that it's retractable. The issue he's had is that the adhesion that holds the mount in place is pretty weak. It's fallen off from sticking on the back of his Tesla screen. Adhesion could definitely be better.
