The foam under the carpet was pliable, easy to cut through with an old serrated steak knife, and easy to pry up with just a long wrench. For the middle compartment, I was able to just cut the back and sides, and pry it up from the back to break the foam at the front without having to cut anywhere near the remote start cable. I hope the photo of the remote start cable helps others know what they’re trying to avoid cutting because I went in blind and worried. Overall, I’m very satisfied. Project took me just over an hour including cutting out the template, and the entire project was fairly easy to do. The template on the box appears to be hand traced from a master template instead of printed on with a precise print. After cutting out your template, I highly recommend comparing your cut out template with the actual product so that you can make adjustments as necessary when marking your carpet for cutting. My template fit perfect laterally for all the compartments, but left approximately 2 centimeters of wiggle space on the anterior and posterior sides. Overall, the product added functional storage where there was none prior, and the product was solid and built well. It looks OEM once installed, and the seats sit flush with the top of the compartments once the seats are folded down.
