It is perfect for reheating meat or bone broths and holds enough (30 Oz capacity) for a nice meal. It alleviates having to heat in batches in smaller bowls or cups. It is super easy to clean and very sturdy. I have managed to have it slip out of my hands (due to arthritis) a couple of time while hand washing and it did not even chip! I am sure it would clean up fine in a dishwasher as well, but I prefer not to use a dishwasher. I do agree with others about the top, it really does not stay secure, but the cup alone is well worth the 5*'s!

**Q: Will this bowl keep food protected while in freezer?**
A: Perhaps, if you can figure a way to keep the lid from popping off. On its own, don’t believe it could. The lids slide up as they have not got ant texture to grip onto.

**Q: The dark blue looks more like dark teal (has a dark green tone in it). What's your call, blue or green or teal?**
A: If I had to choose it would definitely be better described as a green shade than either blue or teal. Either way it is a pleasant enough color to me and is just the size I was wanting..

**Q: country of origins?**
A: There is no label on the bottom of the bowl.

**Q: What is the point of the lid if you can't put it in the microwave? I thought that was its purpose.**
A: I never even noticed this. Well that's garbage. It even says in the description at another point the lid is for splatter free reheating. How does it do that if you can't put it in the microwave. I've been using it in the microwave and nobody has grown a third arm yet but now I guess I'll stop. Thanks for pointing this out
