His basket was overflowing and was unsightly. I thought this bone storage bin would be perfect because it could fit all his toys and close when I didn't want to look at them! It seems durable enough, holds all of his toys, but there's not enough space to secure the lid. I can set the lid on top of the toys and it looks fine. It's definitely better than his old toy basket. He can just reach into and dig around for the toy he's looking for. He is 11 lbs. and stands about 11" I would think it would be way too steep for a smaller dog, like the Yorkie pictured.
