Should include preparation instructions....
A friend of mine has been telling me to try out Sea moss due to the incredible and vast benefits just a small serving size can provide. After trying out this OG sea moss, I am so impressed. The sea moss is in its pure and organic form, meaning you will need to make it into a gel to make it easier and more effective to consume. It’s a shame that the brand doesn’t provide any instructions on the packaging on how to do this. This would’ve been a nice touch, especially since there’s so much plastic packaging that can be used up.Though if you are going to make a gel, there’s plenty of videos online that you can follow. It took me about 20 minutes to make but it’s essential that you gently wash the sea moss but with purified water. This will just help to avoid any contaminants interfering with the goodness sea moss has to offer.Overall, 4 stars.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Cleanest sea moss I have seen. Lovely quality.
Sea Moss really is amazing, our bodies need 102 minerals to be healthy, this sea moss provides 92 of those without using any chemicals or nasties. It arrived in a large, resealable bag, I prepared half and kept half for later. It is a really clean sea moss, it took less cleaning than others I have tried, very happy about that. I always add a few slices of lemon or lime when soaking, it just stops any bitterness. It blends into the most wonderful smooth gel. I make small batches at a time and once it is ready I store in a mason jar in the fridge, I add it to my morning porridge, but you can add it to a lot of things as there isn’t much of a flavour too it.The health benefits are amazing:Helps support the thyroid,Helps control blood sugarsHelps gut health,Great support for the immune systemHelps keep your heart healthy.Very happy with this brand of sea moss, the best I have used.

No usage instructions
Don't buy this is you've never used sea moss before as it doesn't tell you what you are supposed to do with it! I don't know why the product photographs show little pots, you don't get any little pots at all. I was expecting to get the little pots full of jelly but I received a packet with a bit of dried seaweed in it, as shown in my photograph, with no instructions as to what to do with it.I've used a packet of Irish Moss before and I think that Irish Moss and Sea Moss are the same thing, but I'm not completely sure. With the Irish Moss, I had to boil it in a specified amount of water for a specified length of time, you consumed a specified amount each day but it was years ago, so I can't remember these amounts! I might or might not have to do the same with this product, some clue would be nice. There is no mention on the product page what to do with it either!I suffered a pulmonary embolism a few years ago, followed by repeated bouts of pneumonia and an Irish friend advised me to try Irish Moss to clear my chest and it really seemed to help. I was hoping that this Sea Moss would do the same, but first I need to find out what to do with it.

Good but packaging isn't very practical. No nutritional information, could be harmful
Sea moss is a type of red algae. It has a strong umami flavour and some nutrition such as iodine and iron and has anti-inflammatory properties which can help with IBS symptoms. I ordered it for making a seaweed salad. This sea moss arrives in a plastic zip-bag, which surprised me as the pictures suggested it would arrive in a jar which would've been much more practical for storing the algae.I was also disappointed that the writing on the bag boasts about its nutritional benefits but there is no nutritional content table actually laying out the ingredients and %NRV. This is problematic as it is dried with salt so obviously has an incredibly high sodium content. Also sea moss, like other algae, is also extremely high in iodine - which can cause serious problems with your thyroid if you eat too much all at once. I felt it was irresponsible of them not to highlight this. If it stated how much iodine per 100g it would be easier for me to portion this safely.

Lots of good vitamins and minerals
This OG Moss Organic Sea Moss from St Lucia may sound like only a small quantity but it contains such a wide array of beneficial items. Who'd have thought this sea plant would have all that: the possible corresponding benefits are therefore wide, whether using for a specific purpose or just general enhancement. There are no directions but it turned out to be fairly simple to make up a gel which seems to be a standard way to prepare. (See youtube for example.) I found the taste fine and not at all unpleasant, and have started to experiment putting a little in food. The product information says that it'll iast for 2 years after opening. I like that it's supplied in a good sealable bag that won't easily tear, so there's no worry about storage.I believe the price at £10 to be good for the quality, especially considering it's come a long way. Would recommend this one.

great health benefits
I've been using sea moss for a couple of months now after hearing about all the health benefits such as it helping with immune health, digestion, energy and metabolism. I usually soak it overnight and then blend it all up the next day and store in the fridge. It does turn into a gel which I keep in a jar and then put it in my green smoothie every day. With this one I found it doesn't soak that well. Other brands I've tried were fully soaked overnight and really soft. This one was more on the harder side despite me soaking it in water all night. Just had to blend it a bit more which wasn't too much of a problem but thought I'd mention it. I think it's good though but not amazing hence why I've given it an average rating.
