I purchased these for kids who are most interested in getting characters they know-- not playing in tournaments, just the fun of fighting heros and badguys during a game. These are older style clix with a ring. Map, set of dice, ring, tokens and outdated instructions included. Nice variety-- harley quinn, superman, riddler, manbat, nightwing, agent, clayface 3, criminal. 8 total older style clix.

Nice starter said if you don't have one gives you everything you need to play only thing is the characters are old.

I got my grandsons interested in Heroclix and so we play on occasion. We have mostly Marvel Heroclix but I got these for a bit of variety. I wrote my own rules for us to use to make things move faster and be less complicated. These things are addicting and you'll also seem to want just one more box. If you can get to comic and toy shows sometimes you can pick up singles at a good price.

The game has simple rules for the younger fans to enjoy and gets more complex as they age making the gameplay last for years to come. Good for those gamers who want to advance beyond the card gaming system.

Hours of fun

They aren't bad. Personally I don't think they look as cool, or play as well as new ones, that being said they still get the job done. I just wouldn't suggest these for beginners.
