Real machined brass
Real machined brass. Tang on male needed a light touch with a file to fit my Esab rebel 205ic but I was very happy with the solid fit considering these are "aftermarket"I also learned the hard way that the rubber jackets are also gendered, so don't switch them or the plug won't seat into the welder socket. 😊Will be ordering more of these to make an extension ground. Great value.

Perfect. I Used this in a high amperage 12-14V automotive application and it's fantastic. The sheath can be very difficult to place back over the brass core, and you may curse at it in the process, but once it's there - it's not going anywhere. (Yes, I put the sheath on the cable before crimping. It's not possible to put the sheath on after the cable is crimped) If you are only doing a pair of these, it'll be fine. If you are looking to buy 5+ of these - putting the sheath into it's final spot is going to be the bane of your existence.

quick, quick connector
Once again not exactly the same as top of the line connectors but just fine for my purposes. The rubber boot insulator is a little thinner that the ones that come with a miller machine for example, but the cost of these quick connectors is infinitely less. I needed a connector to convert a stick lead to fit a new inverter machine that I recently purchased. I bought two sets of these to make panel mounting easy for my new welder and still be able to connect back to the long leads I already had for a portable but large and heavy generator welder. Thanks (WeldingCity) for stocking products I can afford when I don't always need top of the line.

Will buy them again
I bought two pair of these to allow me to temporarily hook up jumper cables to a trailer-mounted winch. They attached well to each other and did not seperate. I used #2 gauge wire.I saw where some reviewers had trouble sliding on the rubber handles. The handles are not interchangeable. They are matched to the male and female connecters. They slide on properly when paired with the correct connector.

Just what I Ordered!
Quick shipper. Have not installed these ends, but they appear to be just perfect for joining two lengths of welder lead.

I'm so glad I found these
I use this as a quick disconnect for my welder ground cable... I actually purchased 2 of the "male" ends to put 2 different cables on. I can quickly disconnect and reconnect a magnetic ground and a clamp ground.I'm so glad I found these...

Perfect fit
Great connectors for the price. I was worried that they wouldn't fit the female connector on my new Lincoln, but they fit perfectly. I've used these for a few weeks now and they are holding up great.
