Perfect

At first it was leaking from the quick connect section, but if you give it an extra push after the water starts coming out that stops. It did put thread tape on screwing it in to the bucket

Had to buy these so my new water filter in line water filter for the refrigerator would work great price no leaks thank you

These are well-made connectors, and the 1/4" quick connector line works great. The straight male threat adapter side did not work on my installation because the connector and the connector line that came with my refrigerator are "compression type," meaning the threat size and the threat type are different and not compatible. After three fails, I went to my local Ace Hardware Store, where the owner shared some great lessons about plumbing with me, including this limitation. If you see the word compression, or if a compression line fits onto your water system or refrigerator water line, these connectors will not work.

These are not tapered, which is a defining quality of NPT fittings. Perhaps this listing does not state NPT, but water filters generally need that type of fitting. On my water filter holder they stopped short of getting tight enough not to leak. I used teflon tape. I tightened it with a wrench, and it reached a point where a flat part was up against the filter housing. The fitting would go no further, yet it was not tight, and water was leaking out. Happened on both sides of the filter housing.

So much better and easier than copper pipe. Used for my UV system.

Fits perfectly. Been using this for more than 2 months now, no issues till now.
