I wanted a fancier pencil for taking notes at work. Something heavy in the hand, but still slender and easy to grip and tuck into a notebook. This pencil ticks all the boxes for me. The textured grip prevents the pencil slipping, the adjustable lead marker to note the lead darkness (HB etc) is a neat feature, and the hefty of the pencil is satisfying but not unwieldy.

The pencil is of very good quality, so is the lead, as it does not break, and is definitely value for money. I use it every time I sketch, and it has a very simple look. However, the only problem I have with it is that sometimes, small rubber shavings can fall into the small gaps in the design of the grip.

Excellent pencil for long math problems and drawing chemical structures. For me, it was worth the price.

Nicely weighted and feels good when using

Great pencil. The rubber hasn't lasted long and are fairly expensive to replace but another reviewer wrote that the life of the rubber can be extended because of the way it's clamped. I've just had a go and it was easy to ease apart both sides of the clamp and extend the rubber to a usable length. Time will tell if the clamp will still hold the remaining rubber in place or if I'll have to replace it now by buying a set of 5 (@£9.49-£10.99). It seems secure at the moment.

It feels perfectly comfortable to hold, it feels natural to use this pencil. It's light, but not too light. It's the ideal weight. The gnurled grip is fantastic, feels grippier than Rotring's newer models.

The description of product (style name) says "gift box" and pictures also show the gift box. However, items arrived without their gift boxes...

箱付きのように見えますが、箱はありません。 今後使用していって、樹脂部分がどのように経年劣化していくのか見物です。 他の色は明らかに樹脂感がありチープに見えてしまうので、白色は果たしてどうなのか……。

Great pencil as you would expect from Rotring. However the “red” version is more of a pink in person.
