NO, it's only for PS2 slim. You should be able to find one pretty easily, there are tons of them available on Amazon and eBay!! Good Luck!

Why is it that the power ac adaptor get ( hot) just in a few min's , and shut off the slim play station .? its a 8.5 v.

I really don't know. But i hate the slim ps2 it always scratches up my cds
