I searched amazon and saw they had some interesting colorways that most other places didn't have. The gold and white looks nice imo because it matches my mirror and also blends into the wall ( see photos )I am not sure what the battery life is like but will report back when it dies, hoping it is at least a year.It's very cool to see the numbers flip down in the corner of tour eye and when the hour strikes both numbers fall and there is an audible click which I love. I set my clock two weeks ago when I received it at the proper time, and now it is running four minutes ahead.
