I have every book by this author. This, like Natural Magick and Earth Magick, are simple to understand and easy for follow. It gives you the highlights of the Astrology and it uses in witchcraft which makes it a great book for jumping into the topic if your new to it or refreshing your memory if it is a part of your practice you are reacquainting yourself with.This author's books are always ones I recommend to new practitioners, and this one is no different.

There is artwork at almost every turn, some being charts or detaileddescriptions of the subject matter. I purchased a soft copy edition which is sleeved by an outside protector.This book will help you learn the magic of you, your reflection upon what already is and has always been.Personal guidance is tough and many seek out gurus, coaches or trainers for support. Learn how you cansupport yourself building strength, understanding, and character from the wisdom of the stars.A truly detailed and astonishing guide book!

This book does a good job of fulfilling its claim/promise of teaching people about astrology. A lot of it is focused on understanding the language and materials associated with astrology with a heavy focus on birth charts. I consider this an excellent guide for people who are confused about the terminology and don't know how to read or understand the materials and language of astrology. It's also an exceptionally beautiful book with color pictures at the start of each chapter and illustrations. This makes it a nice gift for someone who wants to go beyond vague talk about star charts. The last chapter talks a bit more about the "magick" aspect and how to use the understanding of astrology that the book gives you to perform certain actions to help you use star charts to increase the chances of success. The book is clear, straightforward, and well done.

Vibrant and ColorfulLindsay Squire began by discussing birth charts, stating that each sign and planet has a very different effect upon your life depending on where they are positioned in your chart. She provides a few of her favorites free online birth-chart calculators, which will require your date of birth, place of birth, and your time of birth to be able to create your chart. She further states that in order to get an accurate birthchart, we should consider using two or three different calculators and compare the results.The author provides information on how to interpret your birth chart, along with the signs of the zodiac, which she discusses each's house position, associated mantra, modality, polarity, crystals, herbs, spices, positive and negative traits.Lindsay states that not only can astrology help us unlock hidden parts of ourselves and deepen our understanding of who we are, but it can also be a useful tool in the practice of Witchcraft.I love the vibrant and colorful illustrations and the use of the elegant fonts are very eye-catching. Good book for beginners.

This is a lovely book. It is well-made and informative. I need to take my time and go through it with time to open myself up to it. I skimmed over the contents and this is exactly what I needed to start my journey into astrology. I am not a practicing anything - but I want to be, so this is a baby step in the direction I want to go. I really like how they go into detail and explain things and the why behind it.I do have some feedback on the design, though, from a 40+ woman. We don't all have great eyes. The script font is a little much. It doesn't have enough thick and thin contrast so for your headers it works, but the subheaders I had trouble reading them. I also had trouble with the dark pages and the colored fonts. There is a page of a medium brown with black text. That does not work. You'll need plenty of light to read this book.Other than that, it's a good book. A good starting book. It's the basics.

I’m still reading this book, but so far it’s been rather informative especially with trying to read brith charts in regards to the stars and planet alignment. I’ve done my share of delving into this stuff many years ago. I still have trouble wrapping my head around to understanding it, but I feel like this has been a pretty nice detail read on it. It has some other topics too, but I haven’t been able to finish it yet. So far it’s been an interesting read for sure. Even has a blank birth chart on the book cover flap jacket so you can write yours in.
