Very sturdy - get the right size cutter...
I bought the 3/16 inch cable and standard cutters that are designed for 1/8 inch cable WILL NOT cut through this... I hacked my way through cutting the first 11 strands using 9 inch electrical side cutter pliers, but stopped by Lowes and picked up a set of bolt cutters today to finish the job. The tool that is designed for 1/8 inch wouldn't even make a dent in this...

Great product quality, good, workable packaging
I've had this cable up for a couple months, ocean front, and no issues or discoloration. Cuts well and doesn't unravel.I drilled a couple small holes in the spool flange to thread the cable through so the cable wouldn't unravel ofrom the spool.I'm very handy, and this installation was, for me, a tedious install.Primarily the post prep on older, weathered posts. I over tightened the cables, which seems rather easy to do... There isn't much if any "stretch" in the cable, so on future installs I'll be sure to pay more attention, especially on the longer cable runs

Nice cable
Product meets my needs, expectations. Used for 12'x20' sun shade suspension from 3" metal posts in 3' concrete at 4° tilt for tensioning cables.

Not Corrosion Resistant!
The surface rusts in Gulf Coast air! 316 stainless steel shouldn’t develop rust!

NOT STAINLESS STEEL
We installed this product on a deck job and in less than 10 days it started to rust.Have had to replace all of it with something that is actually stainless!
