Syba CL-AUD63032 Circumaural Over-Ear Stereo Headphone - Purple ($12.58 at time of purchase) These are excellent headphones for the price. Good, clear sound and very comfortable to wear. They do not press too hard on my ears nor do they feel too loose, and in fact fit very nicely. The padding is ideal; soft without being too voluminous. Most headphones are too large for my head even at the smallest setting but these are perfect! They could easily be adjusted to fit someone larger than I, of course. I was surprised by how much background noise these headphones block out. They're great for wearing at work because they isolate well enough to keep me from getting distracted but do not prevent me from noticing when a coworker talks to me (provided I don't turn up the volume too high :P). Sometimes I even wear them with my music off because they soften the sound of people typing and servers whirring and humming in my office. On top of the functional perks, they are attractive and lightweight. Easy to carry around in a bag or simply hang around my neck until ready for use. All in all, I highly recommend these headphones as a worth-while, affordable option.

We bought 2 headsets for our 5-yr old: this and the Kidz Gear Wired Headphones For Kids. We previously had another Kidz Gear, but our 5-yr old broke it by biting on the same spot on the cord for over a year (despite our telling her not to do so over and over again.) Once she broke that wire, she learned her lesson, and is now very careful with her headsets. Anyway, the Kidz Gear cost about $20. I want to get her a less-expensive headset to use in our car only for long trips. We decided on this Syba based on all the good reviews, and bought both headsets in May 2013. The Kidz Gear gets used most of the time, and this Syba one has been used only a few times. Yes, she likes the Syba more b/c it's very comfortable, but it is bigger so it has to stay in the car. Today (2 months later) she used the Syba, and the sound comes in and out. When I wiggle the jack slightly, the sound would get louder and then fade away again. Needless to say, I regret by saving a few dollars initially buying this Syba, I have now wasted $12.50 b/c it'll cost more just to ship it back for warranty exchange. I realize most people give it a good review b/c it is a great headset out of the box, but I'd like to know how many of these headsets stop working after only a few months. I'd stick with the Kidz Gear from now on. The Kidz gear is not as comfortable, but it is more durable.

Color = meh Price = nice Quality = pretty good I bought these to replace an expensive gaming headset I had that suffered a damaged cord. I definitely wasn't going to pay too much again because my previous pair were only about 6 months old. So, I am listening to them now. I not much of an audiophile, but the sound reproduction seems good to me! I listen to alternative, so bass is adequate for that. Highs are clear. I'm not used to the fit. They sort of set lightly against my ears. I am used to how my gaming set went well over my ears and completely blocked out other sounds. Oh, the cord isn't very long. I have them plugged into front port on some desktop speakers. Most likely would not reach around behind a tower on the floor or maybe even on the front panel unless it's right on your desk. I have a 7 year old that uses my computer sometimes, so we'll see how those fit small heads. --update-- Fits kid heads fine. --update again 08-08-13-- My kid apparently was watching a very dramatic thriller at some point and thought it would be okay to chew on the cord! So, the rubber sheathing doesn't hold up well to human teeth, but they still work!

Let me preface by explaining that I purchased these headphones for my 3 year old daughter to use in the car while watching movies. In that sense, they technically didn't serve their purpose simply because when searching for suitable children's headphones on Amazon, these appeared when I did a search for "child headphones". After reading a few reviews and determining that others also purchased these for young children with smaller heads, I thought they would be perfect (especially because her favorite color is purple). Sadly, and absolutely NO OFFENSE to those other parents/grandparents, their kids' heads are apparently HUGE... My girl has a tiny frame as it is, and so she doesn't have such a bulbous head, which was my main concern when looking to outfit her with a set of headphones that didn't scream "KIDS PRODUCT". I was excited when I saw this seemingly fashionable set because visually it matched what I was hoping to find. Unfortunately, they are NOT for small heads. Now to the actual product. These things sound AWESOME! I'm a (hobby) DJ, and so I've had my fair share of top-shelf headphones. I currently use Technics RP-DH1200 Stereo Headphones. Not even considering price comparison, this set has a comparable sound and quality with laughably MUCH cheaper material. In fact, the only reason I didn't give 5-stars was because they do feel a bit cheap in the hands. Other than that, they have an amazing range of sound and provide decent noice cancelling with the ear padding. For the record, I did put them on her head to use while watching her movies in the car, but a combination of her tiny (er, but not empty...) head and her car seat makes it hard for her to keep them on at the lowest head band setting. Chord is long enough, colors are vibrant and they do sound and 'look' high-dollar even if they don't necessarily feel high-dollar. Overall, I would recommend this product for a cheap solution to nice-looking headphones with a great sound if A) you didn't mind sacrificing a bit in the material quality, and B) you weren't trying to outfit a small child with them. 4 STARS.

This is the second pair that I've purchased. I gave them three stars because they don't sound the best, and the people around you will most likely hear what is playing. The reason I am purchasing a second pair is because I absolutely LOVE them for running. While the sound won't compare with another set of headphones if you're just sitting in the house, while you're running they sound just fine and I am able to enjoy my music without outside noise or annoying bouncing sounds (a teensy-tiny bit of this may pull through, but it is easily ignored). Many headphones and earphones make annoying sounds as you're running and they bounce with you but these don't. They fit very comfortably and snugly, so they stay put. They also won't hurt your ears and will give a satisfying sound experience for running because they sit so well on your head. They are also very cheap and that's a plus. I don't like purchasing expensive headphones for running since I'm so hard on them and they break so easily, but I used these for a few months and they never broke. I'm only repurchasing because someone literally crushed them beneath something. Your ears may sweat if it's hot where you live. I've had times where I pulled them off to let my ears cool. But during the winter they're perfect and even in the summer I put up with it because these are still the best headphones OR earphones I've found for running, even at the price. They also come in a couple cute colors, so they're fashionable as well. If you're getting these for exercise, I would DEFINITELY recommend them. If you're getting them for normal music listening, do NOT purchase these. Try Sennheiser HD 202's or Sony MDR-V150's instead. The music will sound better. If you're purchasing these for a kid then go right ahead. They'll love the color and won't notice the music quality. Trust me, they sound good enough for a kid. :)

First thing, I am no audiophile. I recently moved overseas and needed a good set of headphones for my kids to use with their Kindle Fires on the plane. I wanted circumaural headphones to isolate the plane noise. These were inexpensive enough to justify taking a risk. The audio from these things are excellent and are hard to disappoint. Again, I'm no audiophile, but I find myself stealing my kids' headphones from time to time when I don't want to shove my in-ear buds into my head. I won't say it has decent bass or anything, because I have no basis from which to gauge that comment. What I will say is that audio sounds very full. In no way do these sound "tinny" or "flat". I don't feel there is anything missing from my audio experience when I use these headphones. The cable is of a very nice and flexible gauge. It does not kink up and become unwieldy as some other headsets do. Considering how destructive kids between the ages of 6 and 8 can be (my kids' ages), these have taken a beating and they still look new. If you need durable headphones for kids that have good audio, can take a beating, and can isolate noise on car or plane trips, then these are hard to beat for the price. Even if these things break in the near future, I would buy them again. Completely worth the money.

I bought this headset for my 5yr old son's iPad/Switch. They fit him well and comfortably. The cushions were soft and he they really did cancel outside noise. He laughed at their ability to turn me mute while wearing them. The sound quality was good enough for him (he's not a DJ, hes 5yr's old), and they can get quite loud. Loud enough to be uncomfortably loud for even myself. However, he's not into loud noises so he kept the sound reduced and protected his ears in the end. The microphone worked great. I expected a lot of background noise to be picked up or it to not register well, being that the mic is on the cord and away from his face. To my surprise, it was quite clear and had hardly any humming from background. Overall it seemed to be a fine product well worth is affordable price. However, on the same night we had received them he started to complain that his cousin couldn't hear him over voice chat while on Minecraft. After inspection I had found that the 3.5mm audio jack had become faulty. Without any side to side pressure applied to the jack, only the RIGHT ear would work. No mic or LEFT audio. Ultimately I had to trash the headset as I could not repair or rig the set in a way that it'd work. Now I understand that it may be a manufacturer defect or it could even be the result my son, but for such, a headset that is sold to be used by children, it's a big disappointment in durability. He knows how to remove them from his devices safely without yanking on the cord and he even has a designated place for his electronics while they aren't in use. He's quite particular and handles his devices softly that it makes me want to error on the side of manufacturer. I didn't imagine the headset to last him for years, but I wouldn't have ever imagined them lasting less than 24hrs. I really liked the design, comfortably, color choices, and quality of the sound/mic on this headset and would love to try them again, but I fear the waste in money for another 8hr test run. If I try out this headset again in the future I will update my review.

When I got this, the Audio Quality was actually pretty nice and I have a big head so I was happy it fit me comfortably, even after a few hours of having it on, I wasn't sweating or anything I've felt on other headphones. Although it broke on me when I put it in my backpack, this was some still good quality headphones. Lasted me a few months....could probably last a few years if kept in good condition and not shoving it in a backpack. xD I would Definitely buy another one....Especially now that I got a source of income. NOTE: If your planning on Personalizing it, Sharpies need to dry for a bit before touching it. Not sure about paint but yea, other than that, I think its good.

I purchased 3 pairs of these for my children for Christmas, they are 12, 11, and 7. They are Perfect for what we needed them for. Great quality, and worth every penny. They were pretty inexpensive compared to similar brands and the sound quality and the over all quality of the headphones are great. I definitely recommend them.
