Essential purchase for anyone with a laptop, and especially for anyone with a macbook of any sorts. This screen keyboard imprint protector doubles up as a great microfibre cloth for cleaning your screen and keyboard, but more importantly protects your screen from any imprints from your keyboard. This is very important as gradually over time, any oily prints or debris on your keys can eventually wear away the anti-reflective coating on the macbook screens. This is exacerbated when any pressure is placed on the screen/laptop lid when closed, for example when placed tightly in a case and/or bag and other items being pressed/squashed against it. I have previously had 3 2nd hand macbooks and all of them have suffered from the anti-reflective coating wearing away before I purchased them. The ghostblanket should prevent this completely with my newly-bought 2nd hand (but in pristine condition) macbook air m3. The ghostblanket is also thin enough to negate the risk of it damaging the screen when the lid is closed and some pressure is applied to it, as it was designed with this in mind. Some people are thinking it is too expensive for a couple of microfibre cloths, but you get 2 in each pack and it will cost a lot more to replace the screen (you can't just replace the anti-reflective coating as far as I know) if the coating starts to wear away. Less than a tenner for the peace of mind and potentially preventing a screen replacement (I can live with the anti-reflective coating wearing away as it doesn't significantly affect the screen functionality, but it would bug me every time I use my laptop so much I would replace the screen or the whole machine prematurely).

I've used the ghostblanket on every Mac laptop I've owned since 2011 and swear by it. One of the first things I purchase when I get a new Mac laptop. Does a great job of stopping keyboard marks on the screen. The thickness means that it doesn't interfere with the screen closure. Very much recommended. Having read many of the reviews, it appears that the purpose of this is misunderstood. The idea behind it is that, as a minimum, it covers the keyboard so that the keys don't mark the screen. It's not designed to cover the whole lower part of the laptop or to cover the whole screen. Seems like this misunderstanding has lead to some disappointment in reviews.

Pros: - Extremely soft, thin, heavy quality material. - Minimal branding and neutral colour. - Protects screen from keyboard cover marks on MacBook Pro 14”. (Remove for easy typing.) - You get 2 of them so good value for money. Cons: - Works well but too small to cover entire screen area, leaving lines outside it. - Arrived with deep fold wrinkles and hard to get out.

I bought this keyboard blanket to cure an indistinct black spot has recently appeared on the screen of my 2021 MacBook Pro 16”. I have read that this may be caused by pressure on the screen from the keyboard which can be reduced by placing an appropriate microfibre cloth over the keyboard. I therefore decided to buy this product to see if it helped my screen. First challenge is opening the packet as the cut-outs on the side did not allow me to tear it open! Fortunately, it is translucent so I was able to cut it with scissors without damaging the microfibre contents. It comes with 2 cloths, both of which seem to be a perfect fit for my MacBook. I started using a cloth on 13th June and have ensured that the cloth is always applied over my MacBook keyboard before placing it in the padding compartment within my Osprey Arcane briefcase. So far, I am impressed. The brown spot has gone and the clot does a good job of keeping my keyboard clean. This is specifically made for the purpose and works well. It is thick enough to protect the screen but doesn’t interfere with the way that the MacBook closes.

I really like these. They act as an effective barrier between keyboard and screen on my laptop, to keep greasy fingerprints on the keyboard off the screen when it's closed. Of course any cloth could do this, but it's a perfect fit for my MacBook Air keyboaard, and very thin material do it doesn't stop the the laptop from closing - the finely engineered gap when closed means you really need a very thin material, and if it's too thick not only might it not close properly, but the auto-sleep function wouldn't work. Not cheap, but the best solution I've found.

Good quality, comes with two microfibre cloths as mentioned by others They are a good size for the 16inch MacBooks, fully covers the keyboard itself plus a bit extra, protects the screen from any oils on the keyboard

This is very expensive for what it is so I was happy to get two cloths instead of one in my package. Unfortunately the second cloth, the nice one with the ghost logo, came with some red sticky glue like substance on it, making it unusable. It does fit my 15 inch MacBook air reasonably but it's too wide and sticks out on one side while also being too short. It is nice and thin so won't put too much pressure on the screen.

I’ve tried a few keyboard protection cloths for MacBooks before, and this is easily the best one I’ve used so far. The biggest advantage is how incredibly thin it is. Unlike some other brands, this one allows my MacBook to close completely with no visible gap or extra pressure on the screen. That was very important to me because thicker keyboard covers and cloths can sometimes leave marks on the display over time. The material feels very soft and smooth, and it does a great job protecting the screen from keyboard imprints and fingerprints. I’ve been using it regularly and haven’t noticed any marks or residue on the display. It also comes nicely packaged and includes two microfiber blankets, which is a great value. The extra one is useful to keep as a backup or for cleaning. Fit-wise: - On my MacBook Pro 13", it covers the full keyboard area plus one side of the speakers. - On my MacBook Pro 14" (M5), it covers the keyboard area well, although the side speakers remain uncovered. Even with the slightly different fit between models, the product exceeded my expectations overall. If you want a very thin keyboard/screen protector cloth that won’t interfere with closing your MacBook, this is an excellent option.

Nice but extortionately overpriced. You can find the same product from the same manufacturer with the same design and packaging (I'm guessing it's white label) on Amazon.sa for 30 riyals and on Aliekspress for 10~15 riyals (with free delivery). I feel like I got the product and got robbed at the same time. It's criminal how badly companies will rip the public off if they can get away with it.

Had a problem on my m3 Pro Mac where the keyboard would leave microscratches on the screen - seems to be an issue with the chassis. Have been using this over a year with no issues and the scratches didn't get worse. Ended up buying 2 more!

llevo un par de semanas con este producto, el paquete tiene 2 piezas pero no son iguales. una cumple con ser menor a las 13" y cubrir el teclado sin estorbar en la bisagra, la otra es más grande me imagino que es para limpiar porque no funciona para la protección porque si estorba al cerrar la lap top
