What should have been a charming, feel-good movie is largely ruined by its leaden pace and extremely dim lighting. It becomes annoying and it’s only really the court scenes that soar, as the rest of the film should have done. It’s acted well enough but the whole lacks the lightness of direction needed for this story. Disappointing!

Lovely film - very British. Great acting by Jim Broadbent. Also good cameo by Matthew Goode. A joy from start to finish.

Lovely feel good film based on a true story. Nostalgic and humorous with good old British bulldog spirit. We loved it.

Based on a true story with an underlying theme of tragedy and grief. However, overall a not inaccurate demonstration of working class life and challenges in 1960s UK. Very powerful cast and story, really recommend it.

When the blue ray disc was put in the player it would not play - message appeared saying "not set up for your region"

Excellent film. La musique est très agréable. Décors et acteurs au top. Le film est vraiment sympa à regarder grâce à des notes d’humour et une narration touchante. On ne peut pas rester indifférent en regardant ce film.

A very good movie with superb actors

The DVD does not work on EU format machines, i.e. in the jurisdiction from which it was ordered and to where it was sent!

Product was listed as region free, but did not state it was Blu Ray. I had to return the DVD. NOT HAPPY.
