I’m using this for making toiles for sewing. For that, I think it’s superior to other brands I’ve purchased on Amazon. It doesn’t unravel ridiculously, and the weight is perfect for my needs (fairly heavy with some body). It comes folded, which is a little more work than just grabbing a bolt, but the better quality is worth the extra trouble for me. I notice that there are some comments that it’s too thin. If these comments are coming from photographers using this as backdrop, I would agree that it’s probably too thin for that.

This is good muslin. It has a tight weave and consistency. The color is uniform throughout. I really did not know what to expect but I am very pleasantly surprised. Good value. When this runs out, I will be buying more of the same. EDIT: the above review was written for the natural colored muslin, the off white. I have recently ordered the same quantity in black. The black is thin, and when I hold it up to the light, I can see through it. The black yardage is simply not the same quality as the natural. I washed the black and let it hang to dry. I always do this with new yardage. I’ve ironed it several times and cannot get the wrinkles out. The weave of the fiber didn’t tighten up during the wash or drying process. Very disappointed in the black. I will order more if the natural in the future but not anymore if the black. I give the black muslin one star.

Perfect for my project! The fabric was a bit stiff, but that helped it to keep its shape during construction. It softened up with a wash and tumble dry. The weave was consistent and reliable through out the bolt.

This is very nice fabric. I washed it in cool water and dried it on low. It did shrink (measured 60" wide when received and 55" wide when dried). I purchased it to make large side tied aprons. I don't think I would hesitate to line a quilt with this (as others mentioned they do), but I don't think I would use to piece with. I will purchase again as needed. Amazon delivery was terrible, however. It arrived very late and even though the deliverer said it was left on the front porch, we found it by the garage doors, sitting in a puddle in the pouring rain!

I’m slightly disappointed that this didn’t come on a bolt, like some muslin I’ve seen while packing at Amazon.It’s folded multiple times, and not in a way you see it roll off a bolt at a fabric store cutting table. It’s kind of hard to unfold a ten-yard amount on my not-so-big cutting/pattern table in my small apartment, to cut out two to three yards, then struggle to get the remainder to be folded neatly enough to fit into my fabric drawer. I was considering on buying only the amount I needed for each project, but it seems it costs less buying the bulk, plus I needed this material to practice out garments before the final project, so it’ll be used a lot. The quality of the fabric, I have no complaints about though. It was a medium-weight thickness, easy to sew with, and does the job I intended it for. Something I didn’t know, this fabric is hard to iron out wrinkles after preshrinking in the wash. I even took it out before it was completely dry to steam iron. I’ve never tried it before, but I heard you can preshrink wrinkle-prone fabrics like this type and linen using a steamer instead of washing and drying? I think I’ll try that next time. See if that makes things easier.

Pleasantly surprised how much I like this fabric. Bought it as an inexpensive way to make a pj pattern. But after making them I liked the comfort and wear them a lot!

I had low expectations when I bought this. My husband just bought me a longarm so I need fabric to practice on. I was surprised by the heft of this fabric; it’s closer to a duck cloth than a draping muslin which is perfect for my use. I haven’t laundered it so maybe it would drape better once laundered but I like it just as is. I intend to buy another bolt.

Good quality muslin for sewing projects

I'll be using it for making dressmaking moulages/toiles. It's sold as medium-weight, but it is a little heavier than what I can purchase at local stores in Canada. It's manufactured and distributed in Pakistan, and kept in stock at Amazon. I see other dressmakers are happily using it. It definitely could also be used for home decor.

Recently purchased my second roll. I am very happy with the quality of this product. I have made tons of clothing for myself, using this fabric. From pajamas to pieces I dyed myself. I would definitely recommend this product.
