KTA Mobile NuLoop Starline

My phone was ordered 2 days ago and received this morning.First impression: Very nice! Besides the expected charger, it has what look like well made earphones, much better design than what you would normally find without paying at least $40. There is also an attachable soft cover to protect the screen and back, a more rigid protective cover, and a screen cover, all included. These little extras add up fast.It was easy to open and set up, no broken nails or anything needed to pry off the back. The instruction manual is simple and can be read through in about 2 minutes. I like the size particularly. It is a little larger than the Samsung I am used to which improves screen utilization, but very thin and light weight. I put my SIM card in slot 1 and SD card in slot 2. FYI the instructions say to orient and insert as shown but there is no picture, so if you are smart enough to buy this phone you are smart enough to figure this one out.Once plugged in the battery showed 48% charged. It was charged up to 98% in just over one hour. That is respectable.First glitch: The phone is on, fully connected, and incoming calls are going directly to voice mail. The phone isn’t ringing. SIM card is correctly installed, volume up, strong signal, etc. I am in my office where I was using my old phone just before switching the SIM card. The phone is on and fully charged. It took a bit of fussing but the problem was fixed easily enough.Second glitch: After setting up a secure password I found it was set to require sign-in after 5 seconds. I was going batty having to sign in every time I touched the screen. That was changed to 30 minutes. It also requires a fairly complicated password if you don’t use the fingerprint scanner. My advice is to use the scanner.The phone was easy to pair with my car’s built-in bluetooth - another positive. I didn’t plan on this, but a family emergency necessitated constant use for calls and texting the first night I had this phone. 8 hours later power was down to 57%. Nicely done, NuLoop Starline!12 hours after getting this phone out of the box I was heading out to work and it was difficult to make and receive overseas calls. Or was it that my phone was dropping calls? FYI I was driving into Washington D.C. which is a high coverage area. Incoming calls were also hard to pick up. Glitch number 3. FYI this phone doesn’t have voice to text. Easily solved with a downloaded app.14 hours later it is dropping calls a lot. Checking the phone with our carrier (T-mobile) reveals that even though this phone is allegedly compatible, it really isn’t a good fit for their network.I really want to love this phone. It looks nice, well made, easy to set up and use. There are some really nice touches and it is a great price, but this doesn’t make up for a phone without reliable service. I am older, and my phone is not for games and entertainment. It is for communication. Calls are dropped and can’t get through, and texts are not being sent even though I am on a strong WiFi network (my laptop was working just fine.)Summary: Fantastic price, easy to use, attractive unlocked phone without voice to text. Compatible with multiple networks but may not work well on them. Sorry StarLine, you are going back.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT HERE IN THE USA, HAD A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH THE RINGER AND CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, MY MOM WAS IN GHANA USING THE PHONE AND IT STOPPED WORKING. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MADE SURE THAT MY MOM GOT A NEW PHONE WITH NO CHARGES. SINCE THE PHONE WAS CHANGED MY MOM HAS NOT HAD ANY ISSUE WITH THE PHONE AGAIN. SHE CAN CALL AND TEXT ANYTIME. THIS PRODUCT IS VERY GOOD AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. IF THERE ARE MORE STARS, I WILL GIVE 100% STARS.

I received item on time. Packaged well. Product is great for the money and can be very useful as a travel phone being that it has dual-sim capability.,

IT'S really a great phone at a cheap price... as compared to my iPhone 7 the camera is sharp, dual SD card, fingerprint ready, very responsive after opening multiples pages..... I also like the Ideal of taken it above because of the SIM card.. I wish I bought this phone first and save money before buying the iPhone.

Incredible phone for the price. Large screen, sturdy construction. Takes beautiful pix and video.No crapware, a pure google phone.Already has a screen protector applied and 2 cases in the box. Love the FM Radio. Should come in handy when there is no signal or wifi.Will update if my impressions change.So far so good.
