This little rascal did what it was supposed to do...it amused our 3 cats for a while. Works best on smooth surfaces, runs by itself (no remote needed) and fascinates the cats...until! The "creature" comes in 3 sections which are easily put together. Charge it (USB cord included), turn it on, and turn it loose!! Cats kind of go a little nuts. Fun for them, fun for us. This lasted about 1/2 hour when we left them alone to play. This was followed by a lot of running, strange noises and ???? until I noticed one of the cats sitting on the window sil and a couple red flashing lights coming from under him. Our cats a fairly long haired and it seems that several strands of one of our guys fur got wrapped around the alxe of the creature's drive wheels thereby "attaching" the criiter to him and driving him stone nuts!! (Really did scare the little guy as he went scooting thru the house trying to get the thing off of him.) By the time I was able to coral him and literally cut the thing off of him, the snake which came in 3 easily assembled pieces was in 7 or 8 easily assembled pieces....once you found them!! I managed to get everything back together in proper order and it still works. Cats aren't quite as fascinated, however.Bottom line is this; if your cat(s) is short haired there is very little liklihood of a problem; if you have a long hair, there is still probably little liklihood of a problem, but it's a possibility. Be careful.

It does slither around the floor and has a censor to go in different directions. The charge life lasted a long time. I love that it comes with a USB port opposed to batteries. Very realistic looking. At times, I was creeped out. It is a bit loud as the snake toy rolls around the floor as it does have wheels.Then why I did give this cat toy two stars?Because in the midst of my one year old cat playing with this toy, I heard a lot of banging around noise. Then I saw my cat running through the house with the snake toy attached to the front hairs of my cat’s chest.Naturally, I panicked and started chasing my cat to get the toy snake untangled. My cat was so frantic, that she bumped into a chair and the snake toy fell off. Boy was I relieved. For a moment, and I mean only a moment, I thought the snake had come to life!Thankfully, there is no sign of damage to my cat’s fur. Far as how she feels about snakes now, that’s a different story!Just be careful with this toy. If you buy, supervise the play time at all times with your cat. It really intrigued my cat and kept her interest. Again, glad this didn’t turn into a vet office visit!

This is a really well made toy, the way it moves is really fluid and it's definitely can work for maybe more confident pets or even dogs. It puts my cats off because the motor is loud. They were really interested but didn't attempt to play with it because it was so loud and moved kind of erratically. It also kept getting stuck in corners but it tried it's best to fix itself when it could (I have hardwood floors, not much furniture, and jute rugs so it didn't have many hazards but still ended up running into everything somehow). I think if the motor was a bit more silent it would be 10/10.

It doesn't work on our short shag carpet and is noisy on the hard floor- clatters and whirrs. Cat hid under the bed immediately and didn't come out all afternoon. Too bad, I was hoping it would be something he would enjoy. He has a strong prey drive but is pretty sedentary. Fortunately we don't have many live mice (or snakes) for him to play with.

Kt slithers and wiggles great. When it 'bumps' into or gets close it backs away and turns and tries again.I thought it would be a soft rubber like some fishing lures also thought it would be thinner

My kitties love this movable snake! The only problem I have found is that it doesn't last as long as the kitties would like after being charged.

Works well but my cat found it to be scary. Also the movements are jerky and it ended up getting lost under the bed
