I’ll be completely honest and say the main factor that drew me to these books is that the dogs are dachshunds and we’re a dachshund family. It’ll be fun seeing her recognize the long dogs as our dogs. . Or it won’t make a difference to her. . Either way it brings us joy. The flaps are super heavy duty which we also appreciate.The thing that throws me with these books is that the matches are extremely unconventional. This is both good and bad. It’s nice to read something and it be a different match vs what’s typically done. But some just threw us for a loop. Like baby loves baby. On one hand I like it, on the other everyone who has read the books to her always pause at that one and go “oh. . Ok”.
