Awesome device for traveling, domestically and internationally
I bought this little wonder before heading to Germany for an extended trip, and I have been using it for travel ever since. I'll just do a pros and cons list:PRO:--Compact size and low weight -- fits easily and doesn't weigh your bag down--Versatile options -- two plug-in devices (laptop and phone) plus USB for iPod or tablet or other small electronics--Dual voltage with surge protection -- protects your devices from questionable electrical service and works without a transformer (obviously your devices need to be dual voltage as well)--International plugs -- if you have to disconnect a lamp from an outlet overseas to plug this in, you can reconnect the lamp without having to carry two plug adapters--Wrap around cord -- very easy to stash, holds securely, and the length is quite handy--Durable -- I've been using it for over 18 months with easily over two dozen trips, and it's still going strongCON:--The cord JUST fits, and it's difficult if not impossible to have the plug pointed down -- often the plug will be sticking directly out from the side, which isn't a huge problem, but it can snag on things in your bag--Only two plugs -- good and bad, keeps it small but limits your connections; best for personal use not for a family--Receptacles can be stiff -- sometimes takes some force to get past the tamper protection--No indicator light -- might be nice to have a light to show that it's powered, I had one instance when I plugged it in and didn't realize until later that it wasn't doing anything because the wall socket wasn't active!Anyway, highly recommended especially for anyone who expects to travel both in the States and abroad. I have paired it with a square box-type multi-prong adapter so it fits into multiple sockets. That's all I have ever needed to carry and don't see the need for anything else. Happy trails!

Extremely helpful while traveling
This is a game changer while traveling as it allows you to charge multiple devices from one compact, lightweight extension. It allows you to charge 2 plug-in cube-type chargers, and up to four USB-A devices. According to the specs posted online, it IS a surge protector. The USB-A chargers are not fast charge, but that is much safer and healthier for phone/tablet/laptop battery life.I like its size and super light weight. It packs easily, as the long thin shape can be tucked along the side walls or between the handle channels on most rolling suitcases. I like that the cord wraps up and stores around the body. I like that it can accommodate polarized plugs as well as 3-prong plugs. I love the 5-foot cord length!I don't like the fact that after 20 days of use, the holes for the standard plugs were getting a bit loose.A handy, convenient travel companion if you have several devices to charge each night while traveling!

Never enough outlets
Great for travel and using in Air BnBs without a lot of outlets.

Useful for international travel - Dual Voltage capable - good cord length - bit pricey
Got this as part of a work trip out to the UK earlier this year (2017).For $16 I still feel it could be cheaper. [Having said that, at the same time I bought the Philips to see what 9 bucks buys me - the Philips had a surge protector built in and turned out to be VERY different with a different use case- it was really a DOMESTIC travel surge protector, not an International power strip - namely single 120voltae only and also only have a 10" cable - making it much less useful - no international travel for the Philips]Things that I like: First and foremost - it is dual voltage. That is critical - the UK is on 240 volts and 50Hz. If your device isn't dual voltage, then in my book it can't be called a "travel" power strip (unless you define travel as domestic).Secondly, the cable is quite long and not bulky, so overall it's lightweight and more capable. Often the power socket isn't close to the desk, so this gives you extra flexibility..On the USB side, can't argue that it's both convenient and capable, but my mobile phone really appreciates Quick Charge enabled chargers to recharge fast. Yes it has a higher than normal charge current, but in the event, I just plugged in my dual voltage QC v2 charger and used that. Great though for tablets etc that might need the current but aren't QC capable. if they ever released a new version with QC 2 r QC 3 built in, it would be an absolute no brainer to pick one up.Overall it's rugged, portable, capable and very useful for travel. For me, am always traveling with multiple devices so this helps enormously.
