are these MFI certified?

Since I do not own an "I" anything, I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I have had no problem using the adaptor on my Samsung phone and my Nook.

If you’re asking if they are wireless receivers for ma mouse then no. They are not that. The basically convert any “normal” USB port into a usb C port.

Would this work to transfer videos from my iphone to my computer?

Yes. I was able to transfer videos but for the Windows OS computers I had to buy the HEIC extension for $0.99 from Microsoft at the Windows App Store else an HEIC video cannot be viewed.
