Seamus Pina Colada Professional Hypoallergenic, Whitening and Brightening Shampoo

This shampoo is wonderful! It cleans well, lathers well and is gentle enough for my 3 Shih Tzu, one of which has sensitive skin. The smell is amazing and lasts for days! The cherry blossom scent I usually buy wasn’t available, so I bought the pineapple and the smell was just as nice. This is a great company that makes great products that I have been buying for years. I won’t use any other shampoo on my critters!

Surprisingly, not all shampoos work to keep Maltese hair white. Actually, pretty much every one I have tried has left their hair dull and dry. The Seamus shampoo got good reviews, so I figured it was worth a try. It works great! Not only does their hair come out white and soft, it also smells really good! The smell last a couple of days, too, which is a minor miracle. Usually shampoo smell wears off as soon as my boys are dry. Not sure why. Anyway, I know some people have said the smell lasts weeks, but that has not been my experience. I am still happy for it to last past drying! I would love it though if they made a matching conditioner spray. I bought the other flavor for that and it is too overwhelmingly coconuty. Not a fan of that smell, though it does lessen over a couple days. That's for a different product review though. Hah. With regard to the cherry blossom shampoo, I give it 5 stars and 2 enthusiastic thumbs up.

Update: my Samoyed puppy is now a 4 year old 😭. This is the only soap I have ever used on him. He smells amazing, is so soft, and his skin is never irritated. We call him scratch and sniff puppy after we use it because he smells good for weeks. I love this soap so much.I have a samoyed puppy who is 9 weeks old. He came to us with a significant amount of litter staining (aka his litter mates peed on him). We had to wash him right when we got him with dawn to get rid of fleas but he was still yellow on his haunches and in the folds. This shampoo smelled great, was easy to apply, and I see a significant difference in the stains. He looks much whiter and his coat is soft. This soap also met my vets recommendations for one that is soap free and hypoallergenic. Highly highly recommend. Attached are photos when he first came home with staining and then right after a bath and blowout with this soap.

This is an outstanding product. We've tried so many and were never as satisfied as with Seamus Shampoo. First off, let me say we're talking about bathing 3 Huge Great Pyrenees dogs, each weighing about 155 pounds. Furry (semi) White Beasts! Hahaha. Seamus lathers up very quickly, which has been a problem in the past. It also has a conditioning effect making it easy to massage the shampoo down to the skin even through the thickest double coats. It does have a whitening effect so leave the lather on at least a few minutes. The ease of rinsing

My husband and I love the cherry scent of shampoo products, especially for our little stinker dog that likes to roll around in a mess. We were pleasantly surprised by this shampoo, even the bottle feels like good quality. You don't need much shampoo as a little goes a long way with this product. The shampoo gives a nice, foamy lather and smells great. After use, my dog smells good for two weeks! you can still smell the shampoo on her fur (this never happens with any other shampoo product). And what really got us wanting to order again, is the customer service. The company sent us a HAND WRITTEN thank you card for purchasing their product. I'm all about supporting small, start-up businesses and this company definitely is off to a great start! Keep up the good work :)

Very subtle scent leaves my Maltese/Shihtzu mix smelling clean and fresh! Great lather and rinses clean easily. Bella dried faster during her blow dry (strange but noticeable) and her hair is so soft and silky, unlike any other shampoo I've used and even better than her professional groomer! This stuff is incredible. In love!UPDATE: One week after our first use, Bella still looks and smells fresh and clean. But what really amazes me is that her hair (which tends to mat easily) is so soft and silky, the little mats I find on her legs and tummy come right out when I brush her! This is a first. Usually when her hair is this long, mats can be a nightmare! ~ but not anymore. I cannot stress enough how amazed I am with this shampoo! Do not hesitate to give it a try!

This is okay shampoo. I have 3 white Shihtzus. For years I used a product called Sho Sno, and loved it but it's no longer available. :( This product is not a whitening shampoo or even a brightening shampoo. It's just a shampoo. It smells good, but I didn't think the fragrance lasted very long. It does make the hair pretty silky, but nothing more than other brands I have used. I'll keep it because hey, it's a dog shampoo, but I don't really think I would buy it again. I will probably continue to look for a good quality whitening shampoo.

Such a lovely shampoo for my cocker spaniel. He is parti color - brown and white - and his white fur on his Clydesdale paws get so dingy and dirty. The shampoo lathered up nicely and was a joy to use on him. He enjoys his bath and I felt like he was getting a spa treatment because of the delicious scent of the shampoo. Champ is highly allergic to many things and this shampoo did not irritated his skin. Next time I'll need to leave the shampoo on longer to really whiten his fur. A few minutes was not enough time. However, it cleaned him really well and he continues to have to nice scent when I pet him. It is not a "perfumey" smell but a naturally pleasing scent. I even received a personal thank you note from the seller which was very cool. Highly recommend.
